ABOUT | 自己紹介
Pavel Pazukhinンといいます。日本を拠点に活動する、独立したストップモーションアニメーター、アーティストです。ストップモーションアニメーションを作り始めて16年になります。
普段は、紙、石、アクリル、植物、身近なプロダクトなど、実物を使ってアニメーションを制作しています。ものを少しずつ動かしながら、1コマずつ撮影していきます。
多くのアイデアは自然から生まれます。森の中で撮影することもあれば、そこで得たアイデアをスタジオに持ち帰り、商業作品に展開することもあります。
I'm Pavel Pazukhin, an independent stop motion animator and artist working in Japan. I have been making stop motion animation for 16 years.
I usually animate physical things: paper, stone, acrylic, plants, and everyday products. Each piece is moved little by little and shot frame by frame.
Many of my ideas come from nature. Sometimes I shoot them in the forest, and sometimes I bring those ideas back into the studio and into commercial work.
現在は、プロダクトデザインと工芸を主なテーマにしています。このテーマで展覧会のシリーズを続けています。MY FAVORITE PRODUCT DESIGN（2025）はステーショナリーをテーマに、テトテラ（2026）は工芸やものづくりをテーマにした展覧会でした。現在は、京都のセレクトショップと、そこで扱われているプロダクトをテーマにした3回目の展覧会を準備しています。
My main subject now is product design and craft. I'm continuing a series of exhibitions about it. MY FAVORITE PRODUCT DESIGN (2025) was about stationery, and テトテラ (2026) was about craftsmanship. I'm now preparing the third exhibition, about Kyoto select shops and their products.

これまで、世界各地のアニメーションフェスティバルで作品が上映されてきました。特に印象に残っているものは、Vimeo Staff Pick（2010）と、Nikonの「Video of the Year」（2017）です。
My work has been shown and recognized at animation festivals worldwide. Some of my favorite recognitions are Vimeo Staff Pick (2010) and Video of the Year, Nikon (2017).
