Yesterday I went to darcenciel's house to make cookies. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies, courtesy of Ger's oven. ^-^ And melty-smooshy Cherry Chocolate ones due to us messing up the recipe...but they're soooo tasty. Watched some more Furuba. I <3 Kyo. We pigged out. Dinner first (Ger's so healthy! peppers, chicken, rice), then cheese that I bought at the grocery store for 100yen (pepper - it was good) and tomato crackers, then eating cookie dough and cherries... but it was an excellent time. Ger's house is so much warmer than mine. I keep joking that I'm going to move in one day...Ger has the space. :P

I can't really think of anything else right now to write about, other than attempting to combat my laziness and procrastination ability. :P

My Mom (<3 her) called the Motor Vehicles Registry, and I can get a temp licence without going home! YAY! I do have to do a bunch of stuff, like photocopy things and write letters, but she can get it and send it to me. I'll have a temp licence that's good for a year. *big sigh* Thank God. I'm going to do the photocopys today and write the letters as a study break.

Tried to call Alberta Heath Care, but I was on hold for about 10 minutes when I gave up. Too Expensive! I'm calling super long distance, here! So I called Ottawa Income Tax to verify that I have no taxable income in Canada (and I don't, he even told me the lines at which I had it deducted, again, which so happens to be BEFORE the one AHC looks at, so I don't know what's up with that), and that while on the programme I am considered a temporary-non-resident of Canada and that's why I don't pay taxes on the salary. But he couldn't help with the AHC thing, so I wrote them an email. It's so much faster than being on hold, I guess, and I can think more when I write it.

So, that pretty much eased the stress. The AHC thing is a bother, since I'm owing money to them and not paying it, which will ruin my credit... I think. But I think I shouldn't have to pay, so I'm not paying until that gets figured out. No one else I know is having troubles! Sheesh!


As for the SAPPORO Yuki Matsuri! Sunny and I will go out on Thursday night ferry (10pm) and spend the night in a hotel on Friday, then come back Sat. at midnight (12am ferry). If you want to join in, let me know soon! That way, we can book the ferry for you if you're coming with us, as well as the hotel (lemme know if you want a single or will share with someone). Thanks! I hope to book stuff after the JLPT, so you have until Monday.

I guess I should get some breakfast... I need milk. :(

JLPT
I have a big test on Sunday - the JLPT. I'm not going to pass, but I still have a lot of prep to do so that I don't fail supremely miserably.

I think that I'd like to try translating something after this test... Ger did it with Gackt's biography, but I don't think I could stick to something so long. I do have a yukata pattern I have to translate, so I guess that's my first step!
