Sibling Shenanigans

I bought some more totes to organize clothes, but before I could do anything with them the kids were having fun playing in them. They crack me up with the things they come up with. 

Mason really had to scrunch to fit in it, and it took every ounce of strength Emma had to push him around in it.

                    March 5, Day 64: Sleeping in, breakfast in bed, homemade birthday cards from my kids, lots of family time, cake and ice cream for dinner, what better way to spend a birthday! So blessed to have an amazing husband and kids that spoiled me all day!

                    March 7, Day 66: My jaw might have fallen open when I saw Mason reading his Star Wars library book because he WANTED to, and not for homework. This was certainly a first, but hopefully not the last! 📚

                  • March 8, 67: The one and only picture I took today was of these two cuddled up together playing games on the tablet before they went to the sitters and I headed off to work.

                  • March 9, Day 68: Freshly bathed Landon all ready for bed. He always wants blue pajamas, cause it's his "favorite color" according to him, and last night had a fit when he had to wear brown ones. I love when his blonde hair curls up in the back. I love his kissable cheeks and how snuggly he is when I tuck him in at night. Sometimes I just want to curl up on his toddler bed with him and snuggle him forever. Why must they grow so fast??? 💙💙💙

                  • March 10, Day 69: Worked all day and didn't take any pictures, but Steven sent this slightly blurry one to me just as I was leaving work. The kids all snuggled up watching a movie before bed.

                  • March 11, Day 70: We went to our first St. Patrick's day parade.🍀 It was a little chilly, but the free hot chocolate helped warm us up until Landon spilt it all over himself and me. The kids loved watching the parade and getting some candy though.

                    March 15, Day 74: Landons meltdown this morning after he spilled Legos all over the floor. After spending the evening looking at more house options I feel like having a meltdown like this of my own! Being an adult is overrated.

                    March 16, Day 75: Emma's hair is getting so long, and she tells everyone her middle name is Rapunzel. Tonight she was so excited to come to a Beauty and the Beast Relief Society activity with me. It was fun to have some mother-daughter time with just her.

                    March 18, Day 77: We had a packed Saturday, cleaning the garage and the house, laundry, playing with friends, grocery shopping, visiting the library, and another house showing. Can't wait for our day of rest tomorrow!

                  • • March 20, Day 79: First day of spring soccer practice. Mason's 2nd year, Emma's 1st, and Landon's just getting some early practice in. ⚽⚽⚽

                    • • March 21, 80: We had fun playing with miss Abigail today. This evening Landon and Emma took turns giving the baby doll a bath in the tub.

                      • • March 22, Day 81: The last couple weeks this boy has been so good to come home and do his reading without even being asked. I dare even say that he has actually started to enjoy reading, although I'm sure he'd never admit it. 📚

                                • • March 27, Day 86: Emma's owie. Yesterday she fell off our toy box and scratched her back on the wooden rocking horse. I don't think I know anyone who gets hurt more than her, poor girl. She also seemed to be sensitive to the bandaid.

                                  • • March 28, Day 86: Celebrating spring break with a trip to Wally world, a haircut for Landon, lunch at Subway, and a rainy afternoon spent cuddled up on the couch watching Trolls.

                                    • • March 29, Day 87: After a long, busy day of work it was time for soccer practice, and play time at the park. Finished the night with scriptures, but it was hard for daddy to read with two little munchkins climbing on him.

                                      • • March 30, Day 88: Well we did have some pretty spring Easter lilies blooming in the yard.... How do you be mad at that face though when he brings you a hand picked flower bouquet that he's so proud of??

Play-Doh

Kids and their play-doh. They played well for at least an hour which of course I loved! 

Flowers, Smoothies and Bike Rides

Well we did have some pretty spring Easter lilies blooming in the back yard, until this little boy spotted them. He is always bringing me dandelions and I'm sure he was so excited to find these bigger, yellow flowers to bring me. Seriously my heart melted when he brought me his little bouquet of flowers with such a proud grin on his face. I mean there is really no way to be mad at that face! 

Love you Landon, thanks for the flowers!

Later this afternoon I was craving a fruit smoothie so I whipped one up for me and the kids and even snuck in some spinach leaves which they didn't even notice other than it made the smoothie a green color. We also spent some time outside and Landon got to try out his new helmet. He got one for Christmas with his bike, but within a month it already didn't fit so we had to get another new one. He needs to grow just a few more inches and then he actually might be able to ride his bike. 

Soccer Practice, Park, and Scriptures

Spring break and soccer continues with some slightly chilly weather.

These two love to play on the empty fields while Mason is practicing. 

The kids are always asking to stay and play at the park after their practices, but it's already 6 o'clock when they get done so I usually rush them home for dinner. However, since Mason doesn't have school tomorrow I let them stay and play for a few minutes. 

Once at home and after dinner we were trying to do our family scripture study but these two littles were having to much fun making daddy laugh so he couldn't read. 

With the few minutes we had remaining before bedtime they got a little screen time. Landon was singing along with song about frogs and was trying to count on his fingers how many more frogs there were which was pretty cute.
