oh those baby blues....

my sister asked me a few weeks ago if evb's eyes were really as blue as they looked in pics. yes they really are. i took a pic of us so you could see the difference. i am positive that she got them from grandad. his eyes were piercing like that.

we started calling evangeline "evb" because during christmas reese was wrapping a present for her & wanted to know how to spell her name. she decided it was too long & must have associated "evb" with my nickname "evie b" because her middle name starts with a b. it has now stuck.

i decided to make her a monkey cake because she is our first child that has attached herself to an object. she has this stuffed monkey that is almost the same size as she. this monkey cake looks just like it but with a bow. it was killing her to see her monkey on the table. she was so happy when she finally got a hold of the monkey.
