Elmo was a hit.

She was so happy!

She got her very own dollie & her older sister is having a hard time sharing.

Charley was so much fun the 2nd birthday party around. She knew what to expect & got so excited with every present. She kissed all the gifts that she got. It was adorable.

I think this picture is hilarious. Look at Reese.

I think that she liked it. She got really excited when we turned down the lights.

This is the cake that I made for Charley's party.

She was more worried about rubbing it on her tummy, face & hands than actually eating it.

We had to let Charley have a little cupcake on her birthday.

She was not so sure what was going on but big sister sure was excited.

We had a little party for Charley at Alisha's house over Thanksgiving.

Here is Charley doing her O face. It is not an attractive picture but it is really funny when she does it.

Reese playing ball.

Here is me getting Aaron.

My brother-in-law rented boxing gloves over thanksgiving. I guess it was intended to relieve tensions?

Here is another Halloween or as Reese would say it "Happy Ween Ween".

I love my bathtime so much!

Gonna getcha'!!!

The weather has been so awesome the last few weeks. The girls have been playing outside a lot. Charley is hiding a green grape tomato in her mouth here that she found in our garden that we just pulled up.

We just couldn't get Reese to sit still or smile for a picture. She was just too preoccupied with answering the door & handing out candy to the kids.

Here is our little devilette & pea. Had I thought of it sooner I would have made Reese a princess so they could be "The Princess & the Pea" but the devilette seemed more fitting at the time.

Charley climbed into the dolly's cradle. Just my size Mom!

Gardner's Village has Witches out for Halloween.

We took Reese to the fair & Had to get cotton candy. Mmmmm....Delicious.

Charley likes it too.

I moved the bean bag to vacuum & Reese climbed up into it. I told her that she looked like she was sitting in Big Bird's nest.

Aaron went fly fishing in Sep. with his brother Marty.

I love my bathtime!!!

Mmmm.... this is convenient.

I like this one but it wasn't Aaron's favorite.

Me & My Daddy

AAAAHHHHH.....the tickle monster.
Once again it has been way too long since we have updated our blog. Summer has past & we have too many things that we did not get to do that we had hoped we would. However, we played outside a lot & both of the girls loved the inflatable swimming pool as much as a big one. Reese got to go out on the boat a few times & really had a good time with her cousins. We thought she would like the tube & the wave runner but I don't think that she liked the water in her face. She was very content on the boat & was easy to watch. She is talking up a storm now & you can pretty well hold a decent conversation with her. She is too smart for her own good though, when she does something bad & she knows it she'll beat you to the punch & say "I'll go to my room & think about that!". Off she goes to put herself in timeout. So timeout really isn't working for us. Potty training is around the corner. The other day I found her sitting on her potty chair (she'd taken off her pants & diaper) & she said "Mom, I am doing my business. I need my privacy". Well.....okay.

Charley cut her first 2 teeth at about 6 months & started crawling at 8 months. She is becoming more & more like her sister. Stubborn, curious, & a very fast learner. She is getting into all my cupboards & loves pulling things out. She is very much a mama & Bama's girl. She is starting to warm up to Aaron but because she has to compete with Reese for his attention she oft times ends up in my arms.

We finally got a new heating system up at the cabin & so we are hoping to spend a few weekends up there this winter. Aaron & I want to take the girls on the snowmobiles. They loved the 4-wheelers this summer. In fact, that was a sure fire way to get Charley down for a nap....just take her for a ride. It is so beautiful up at the cabin during the winter so it will be nice to enjoy it without feeling its bitterness.

Mom & Dad are still living with us but have started the process of submitting their papers for their third mission. I have mixed feelings as usual but I am still excited for them. We will miss them a lot after having them in our home for a year. The girls will miss them too, Charley is especially going to miss her Bama. Bama really dotes on her.

All is well with us Utley's. I guess until next time. Love to hear from you as always.

Reese & I went down the big yellow slide at the Fair. Both Reese & I wanted to go again but it was a bit pricey.

Reese wasn't so sure about the witches & this is the only picture we got. She is trying really hard to SMILE.

Charley would not let go of the railing.
