2012, Week Forty-Three

These mischievous boys happily hatching another nefarious scheme.

 Being a black cat has its advantages, especially during the Halloween season!

 Keegan's discovered how to blow bubbles!  He was quite pleased with himself and went through our supply of bubbles by the end of the day.

 What's that new addition to Dallin's swim attire?  Goggles!  Dallin was doing fine without them up to this point but he's at the level where his swim instructor felt that it woud help him swim farther.  Sure enough, Dallin swims further each time.  Go Dallin!

 Happy times at the dinner table!

 Keegan had a minor fever but to play it safe, he stayed home with Orlando while Dallin and Tara met up with the Kellys and Garrs to experience the Boo! in Burien! 

 They rendezvoused later to carve some pumpkins!

 We've been using (and abusing) our Canon s90 camera since 2009 so it was bound to start showing some wear and tear.  The flash and light balance are becoming increasingly troublesome.  But until a replacement shows up, we'll just have to get creative with our post edits.

 Zoran is the cutest little pumpkin!

 While watching the San Fransisco Giants win the World Series (!!!), we finished up our jack-o-lanterns.

2012, Week Forty-Two

This week's serendipity included serenity.

 Talk about a rockin' experience.

 Dallin played a little ditty for his brother and sang Purple Haze.

 Every now and then we take a photo without realizing what we have.  In this case, we shot the boys running to the fountain but now realize that the red leafed tree forms a near-perfect heart. 

 Those monkeys sure love to jump on the bed.

 Keegan and Dallin love to football wrestle.

The boys enjoyed a dry but cold morning at the tennis courts while Tara had a super good time at super Saturday.

 Keegan loved to throw tennis balls at Dallin who was more than happy to swing at them.

 A little bit of rain showed up and then a torrent but by the afternoon, it was back to sunny blue skies.  We therefore headed to the pumpkin patch with the Kellys!

 Aren't these the cutest little pumpkins ever!

 Keegan loved to ride in the wheelbarrow which also kept him from playing in the mud.  Win, win!

 Keegan took it upon himself to taste the broccoli while we cleaned off his muddy boots.

 Lastly, we got to see Grandma Sheila again!

2012, Week Forty-One

The sunny streak continues in October!  It's not warm enough to go to the beach again but the boys enjoyed playing chicken with the sprinkler. 

 The boys took an up close look at the tree leaves before they inevitable turn dazzling colors.

 Dallin resumed his swimming lessons!

 Acres of pumpkins, far as the eye can see!

 And they're ginormous!

 Waugh!  They've trapped the boys!

 Luckily, Dad freed the boys with magic and shrunk the pumpkins to more manageable sizes.  Keegan literally got the last laugh!

 Eighteen months and cuter everyday.

 Oh no!  The unforeseen consequences of dabbling in magic!  Dallin the five headed ghost!

And Mommy and Daddy are two-dimensional!

 Poof!  All back to normal and very happy.

 Tiger pumpkins were the boy's favorite so we picked up a couple.

 The boys thought that they were so clever as they hid from Mom and Dad.

 But Mom and Dad had a few surprises of their own.

 Dallin's face says it best.  The pumpkin patch rocked!

 Last week Keegan figured out how to open doors.  This week he managed to play in the sink while balancing on his toes.  We don't know if we can handle next week!

 Crazy dances and silly routines are sure to appear whenever the cousins get together.

2012, Week Forty

Our uncharacteristic weather continued into October with temperatures in the 80's so to the beach we went!

 We had a wonderful time!

 Keegan was so cute as he played tag with the waves.

 Dallin, on the other hand, just dove right in.

 A rapid run around the stone structure removed the excess sand.

 Say hello to Keegan's new pose that screams celebrate.

 The way these two behave after Dallin returns home would make you think that they haven't seen each other in ages.  Such goofs!

 Grandma Sheila came to visit us! 

 The kids put on these costumes and then a performance for Grandma.

 Yet another warm day with blue skies and frisbee fun.
