Week Forty-Four

Ready to go on a walk? Let's go! We went to the Soos Creek Trail and boy was it crowded! Grandma had never seen it that packed before.
I was fascinated by all of the dogs on the trail. Especially Sugar and Ginger.
Sugar became king of the trail!
Here's my impression of all the dogs I saw.
We went over to the Flamm's for family home evening on Monday. Although Kylee and I see each other every Sunday at church, we decided to have a staring contest for the first 10 minutes or so when I arrived.
We eventually got bored with that game and played with each others feet instead.
Kylee is one month younger than I am but she has an easier time eating food than I do. She gave me a few pointers so I returned the favor by demonstrating my crawling skills.
Grandma Sheila and Sky came to visit me last week! I had an absolute ball with Sky. He let me crawl all over him and didn't mind one bit. We played all day long. He even tried to teach me how to wink.Sky and I were having so much fun that the missionaries and my other Grandma stopped by to play and have lunch.
I love my Grandmas! We have wonderful times visiting with our home teachers. Ron (in the gray shirt) is going to be serving his mission in Sweden next month. He's really excited and especially eager to go. Sometimes I wear out my Dad when we play all day. But that doesn't stop me from playing with his feet.
It was time to replace the caulk in the tub so my Dad talked to the helpful staff at the store and they recommended using laminate caulk strips. But they didn't work so Dad had to re-caulk the tub the traditional way and it turned out great!
I can turn anything into a fun toy or even a fashionable accessory. Although I find that bowls make better hats than the other kitchen supplies do.

Dallin the Doggy

Look everybody, no hands! Here's a sample of the many things that I carry in my mouth.

Week Forty-Three

Another non-rainy week. We were able to go on several walks. It was still a bit chilly so we had to bundle up, but I loved being outside.
Dad and I have such good times together. Even when we're still in our Sunday best.
I love going over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I took this picture of them because of their matching shirts...how cute.
Grandpa had Monday off because it was President's Day, so we went on a walk to the park. I thought Ginger and Sugar were SO funny barking at anything that moved...or didn't move.
Sugar got tired so he got a ride, but I called shotgun.
Grandpa flew to Korea to bring their foster child, Min, there to live with his father. So Grandma and Aunt Celeste came over for dessert on Friday. We played Blokus and Grandma won (she has her winning face on). Thus ending my Mom's reign as Blokus Champion.

Week Forty-Two

Here comes the sun and here comes the son! Doot-n-doo-doot! The sun returned to Seattle after hibernating through the winter. I enjoy playing with the rays on the carpet, the walls, & wherever they land. So it's time to wear hats again. Don't Mom and I look good in our matching Mariner's hats?
I love my family.
On Saturday, my Dad went caucusing while Mom played with me. In WA state, the presidential primaries don't count, only the caucuses do. Which is ludicrous because the caucus is only held on one day and it only lasts about an hour. My Aunt Celeste had to work so she couldn't participate and my Mom was watching me so she couldn't either. Out of our entire district, only 12 people showed up. And 6 of them live on our street! Dad had a fun time with the neighbors as they discussed the pros and cons of Clinton and Obama. Even though it ended up being an even split, everyone was still optimistic since they'll both do amazing things for our country.
I like to walk around while holding mom or dad's hands.
On Tuesday, Dane and his daughter Nyah came over.
Nyah and I had fun playing together. Although she got a bit frustrated because I wasn't sharing.
I prefer milk to solids, so to try to help me along, Mom and Dad bought me this mesh feeder so I can feed myself.
Ah ha! I don't think so Mom. You are not getting that food in my mouth.
On guard!
HAHAHAHAHA! You will never win.
Victory is mine!

Week Forty-One

Saturday while mom was putting the R.S. bullitin board together, dad and I played basketball. We played horse.
I won.
Sunday, Phatboi and I played a bit of tackle football while mom and dad watched the super bowl.
Again...I won. Mom and dad were pretty amazed I could pick up the big football.
Thursday night mom went with grandma and grandpa to the Hillary Clinton rally. She had never been to one before, so even though she hadn't decided to vote for Hillary (she hadn't decided on anyone yet) she decided to go. She was most impressed about Hillary's plan to fight global warming and to save our world. The fact that they played music from U2 and the Dixie Chicks was also a plus.
Friday, dad, grandma and I went to Seattle for the Barak Obama rally. But as we were searching for a parking spot, we asked some people who were walking away from the rally why, and they said there were 5,000 people who were not able to get in waiting outside (it was at the Key Arena which holds 18,000). So we decided to listen to it on the radio and have lunch with mom instead. Here we are at Jimmy Mac's. Mom LOVES the yeast rolls they serve here.
We decided to not even try to fight the traffic again to go see John McCain that evening. He's pretty much a shoe-in for the republican candidate anyways so we'll plan to see him later this year. Instead we went over to grandma and grandpa's house for dinner. I think their dog, Ginger is funny.
I also like their foster dog, Sugar. For some reason they don't seem to like me, especially when I'm pulling their hair or squishing them under my weight.
Grandpa let me wear one of his hats. This is a traditional Tibetian hat. Everyone was impressed that I didn't take it off right away.
Especially since the sequense was hanging right in front of my eyes. Grandpa has lots of fun hats.
I can't wait to try them all on some day.

Week Forty

Hello!
I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite things I did this week.
I like to play the piano.
I like to eat everything I'm not supposed to. I guarantee I wouldn't be eating these graham crackers if it were open. I might put it in my mouth, make a funny face, then take it out and play with the gooiness in my hand...but not eat it.
I also LOVE to watch myself on the TV. Whether it is a video or picture - so long as I'm happy, smiling, or laughing - I'll laugh too.
See, here I am laughing at the picture with Phatboi tackling me. Phatboi is so funny.
Speaking of Phatboi, that's another one of my favorite things...chasing him. I try to get him all the time.
Wherever he is.
Until next time...bye bye!
