Year Two Week Twenty-Two

The last days of summer and I made the most of it! Dad and I had a lot of fun finding things in the clouds. Grandpa came up to visit this week!

Domo Origato, Mr. Roboto! I would much rather play with the big red robot than eat the awesome teriyaki food.
Dad took me to Seattle for a fun filled day of wonder. Where else can you play with pigs with fins?
My Dad even took me on the Monorail! I wanted to ride it all day long and cried when we had to disembark. I behaved much better on the return trip.

Exploring the underground bus tunnels was also a blast.

We then ran all over Seattle Center and were awed by the magnificent fountain.

On Saturday, we played with the Goldings and Kellys in the morning.

Evading the Deinonychus's attacks at the Pacific Science Center and taking refuge with the Triceratops and Stegasauruses was a little scary but also a lot of fun!

Walking throughout the butterfly house was the highlight of the day! It was wonderful to see them flutter about.

How exciting!

The foliage was so beautiful too.

Playing the marimbas was great fun and my song was super. Too bad we only recorded the last bit.

My Dad beat my Grandpa at chess for the first time! Yay Daddy! I can't wait to beat my Dad at chess someday too.

Rub-a-dub-dib, three kids in a crib!

A wonderful week, full and complete!

Next week we're going to Grandma's house for her birthday!

Year Two Week Twenty-One

Welcome to another fun filled week! We've been working on a few last-minute summer projects but still managed to squeeze a few fun times in here and there. We finally had everyone together for a true Creek & Montoya dinner! It has been so long sine the last time that none of us could remember when it was. So sad, but we're going to make sure that the next get together happens sooner! Going to the Library is one of my favorite things to do. I could spend all day there.
Tennis, anyone? My Dad ventured out onto the court with my Mom and me but got too excited and hurt his ankle again. We still had a ball.

We visited the Fifes on Saturday and had loads of fun playing together. The Dads were fully immersed playing the newly released Marvel game and stayed up until midnight!

While I thought that the game was awesome as well, I also enjoyed sharing and playing with Luke and Miriam. It's always such fun to play with other people's toys.

Year Two Week Twenty

Building tunnels for my train tracks is one of the activities that holds my attention. It's not uncommon for me to be completely engaged for thirty plus minutes.The Puyallup Fair began on Friday and we wasted no time getting there.

We loved to see all of the animals and just gushed about them when we came home! The tasty treats were also yummy!

I'm wearing the potato head glasses. I try to stick the other potato head accessories on my face but they don't work as well as the glasses.

How many Spider-Men can you find on me the in the picture below?

Wow, did I enjoy playing The Beatles: Rock Band. I was just amazed at the sights, songs, and instruments that all came together. I could play it eight days a week.

Congratulations to Kathy and Grant Gallentine! Their reception was wonderful and us kids had fun dancing too!

Whee! There are ice chunks all over our yard!

Actually, we replaced our freezer and the ice came from our old one. Dad couldn't believe that I liked the taste as much as I did.

We had the pleasure of the Kellys and Flamms on Sunday for dinner, desert, and fun times!

Year Two Week Nineteen

I enjoyed the Museum of Flight so much that I had to go again! This time we took Shayla and Vincent along too. My parents are starting to catch on to the fact that this awesome tunnel is quite possibly my favorite part of the museum.

The weather continued it's dynamically manic temperament beginning with sunny days to raging thunderstorms. Dad and I also came down with something but still managed to have fun regardless.
