Year Three Week Thirty-Nine

Another wonderful week began much like the last one ended. Dad and I revisited the Train Expo at the Science Center! I even got to ride the trains this time!
Hey! I have smaller versions of Thomas and James at home. It was a hoot to drive these trains on the rails.

Wow! A steam engine that puffed smoke! (kinda looks like I'm riding on it, don't ya think!)

We had to take a small break for a doctor's appointment but we found ways to entertain ourselves.

Back for more train fun, this time with the speedy Hogwart's Express.

Dad and I found the 3-D exhibit to be an eye opening experience.

Lastly, the butterflies danced and landed on us.

Dad shot the space needle as we were walking to our car. As you can see, we had a long fun filled day.

The Australian Open began this week and Vincent and I wanted to play tennis outside. It was dark and a little wet but Mom came up with the brilliant notion of swatting the bubbles.

Mom had her company pre-func party at Stegar's gorgeous house. Everyone had a great time laughing at all of the hilarious stories.

Later they rendezvoused at Jillian's for games, karaoke, billiards... Air hockey, arcade games, and ping pong. Oh what a night!

Uncle Ryan really went all out this year on the Christmas lights. Not only is my Grandma's house spectacular, but he managed to include two more houses into the show! Dad had to take multiple shots just to get all of the lights in but blended them together nicely in the video. See for yourself!

Year Three Week Thirty-Eight

Another happy week here in the Pacific Northwest. Vincent came over and we had a ball. Dad was grateful I had a buddy to keep me busy so he could get some things done.

Iron Man: Armored Adventures is still my favorite program to watch but the original Tron made quite an impression.
The new tires for Dad's car came in this week after the flat he got last week.

Mom and Dad went on a double date to see Tron at the Seattle Center IMAX in 3-D. They enjoyed the movie very much and recommend that you see it in the theaters.

The model train expo was happening at the Seattle Science Center this weekend too. I was thoroughly enthralled. Shayla and Vincent were not as interested but they found other things to do. Shayla's favorite was the butterfly atrium, which I always enjoy too.

There were tons of these black and red/pink ones around this time. I called them the Tron butterflies.

Do you know who else likes trains? Darth Vader and friends!. I was skeptical of Obi Wan and Leia but Vader and I are tight.

Our good friend Tina Angell celebrated her 40th birthday in style. We enjoyed delicious food, pinata bashing, games, karaoke, dancing, and a special appearance from Elvis!

Then Sunday we had the Kelly's over for dinner. I always get so excited when my cousins come to play. "Help me, Vincent! Shayla's got me in a bear hug!".

Year Three Week Thirty-Seven

Yee-haw! This week started off great!But then I caught a cold, an ear infection, and pink eye! Yikes! I was in a surprisingly good mood in spite of it all and still helped out around the house.
I made this towering ziggurat all by myself!

We spent a long time at Costco getting a flat repaired but made the most of it by testing out the merchandise.

And eating yummy food!

Another nice thing about hanging at Costco is that the Seahawks game was on their big screen tv's. It was remarkable how the shoppers would stop and gather around to cheer on our team. The place practically erupted during this spectacular play.

*Update* Apparently the zealous fans in the stadium caused a 30 second earthquake that was recorded by the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. Yowza!

Year Three Week Thirty-Six

Another wonderful week at Grandma's house and with the Kellys too! Vincent and I marveled at our matching toys and PJ's. More fun and games with Grandma Sheila getting the upper hand often.

The renovated bowling center was fun for all of us. My Dad enjoyed the challenge of only being able to use his left hand. I came in seventh out of the nine of us that bowled.

Ha-ha-ha! Jessalyn and I always make each other laugh.
