One Year Week Twenty-Two

Do you notice something different about the picture below? What's that you say? No, Uncle Shawn didn't suddenly get really hairy...but he did welcome the new addition to the Kelly family. Wecome Brita!

Brita is the German Shephard that Aunt Missy and Aunt Shannon puppy raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind. They raised her and trained her for the first two years of her life before going back to Guide Dogs for final training and finally graduating and being placed with her companion. That was 8 years ago. Brita is now 10 years old and retired and Aunt Missy was able to get her back!

Aunt Missy picked her up from the airport on Tuesday. Philly was quite jealous at first, but by Friday when we went to the park they enjoyed playing together.

My favorite part of the park were the dirt hills that I could run through, fall on, and crawl over.

Vincent really enjoyed watching us kids and the dogs! Lately I have been practicing my jumping. I put on these magical strawberry socks to help give me a little boost.Great Grandma Eda Bea came last week to live at my grandparent's house. I got to meet her finally for the first time! I love her so much already.
Saturday night we had a delicious Korean dinner that JihoBonnie prepared for everyone. Later, we played at Shayla's house while her Mom and Dad went on a date. We have so much fun being goofy.
I played with Shayla again on Sunday. When I get bored at my house I will often walk to the garage door saying "house, house" meaning...I want to go to Shayla's house and play. Then I'll grab my shoes and say "shoes" meaning...I want to leave now. Luckily I do get to play with Shayla and Vincent often because they live so close.

One Year Week Twenty-One

Oh boy was this week fun! I did a bunch of my favorite things, as you'll see.

I love to munch on the apples that our tree provides. I often want to eat the apples on the ground outside, but Mom and Dad always stop me. I also spend as much time outside as I can because fall is fast approaching and I LOVE being outside.
I love sprinklers too! Really I love any water I can play in.

Not only play in, but drink! What fun!
Whee! Shayla had so much fun swinging and crashing into my Dad. I thought it was hilarious too! And although I'm not at the love stage of swings, I do love seeing others laugh, especially Shayla.

Dane stopped by for Lunch and I couldn't stop smiling. He's so funny! My Dad loves hanging out with Dane...so I love it too.
I love playing with family. The Yoons, Grandma Denise, and Roger stopped by for some dinner and fun. I just think Edan and Isis are so funny.
I LOVE when my Grandma Sheila comes to visit...it was my favorite part this week!

I also love seeing animals. We went to the Puyallup Fair on Saturday and watched a Monkey show in Sillyville.
I loved seeing the horses too. But the animal I loved seeing the most were the chicks. I could stand there for minutes watching them (which is an accomplishment for a 17 month old)!
We were busy, busy bees at the fair!
Bee-ing a busy Bee is hard work. I took a nap on my Dad's shoulder. I actually do love naps, but I usually like them best in my own crib.
I love pulling wagons. I also love playing with Shayla. And I love these new animal PJs Mom got me.
We sure had fun with Grandma this weekend. I can't wait to see her again in two weeks!

One Year Week Twenty

I am so excited about this week that I'm running to tell you about it!

It started off with a new fence in the backyard!

Trees! I love trees! I'll usually run up to them and pat them.
What if I was Geordi LaForge for Halloween?
My Dad picked up this awesome Seahawks jacket on clearance at Target for me and I love it! It makes cool swishy sounds when I move, it keeps me warm, and it has a bird on it! I like to point it out and then say and sign "bird".
We were finally able to go camping over the weekend with the Yoons and Montoyas. We stayed at Manchester State Park and actually ended up in the same campsite as the last time when I was still in Mommy's tummy.

My favorite bit would have to be the blackberries. They were perfectly ripe, abundant, and so tasty. We ended up taking a lot home with us.

Beach volleyball was a hit with the adults. My Dad served a ton of aces consecutively, much to the chagrin of the other team. Go Dad!

I ended up scaring the life out of my Mom when I pushed the stroller off the bluff and then came tumbling after. I fell about three feet and landed face down onto the rocky beach. It scared and hurt so much that I didn't move or cry at first until after my Mom picked me up. Luckily I wasn't too terribly hurt so I decided to join in the volleyball game shortly after. I guess the ordeal must have tired me out because I ended up falling asleep on Jiho's shoulder on the way back to camp.
I sure enjoyed being held by my Grandma when I woke up from my nap! After lunch, I was ready to go on a hike. 1...2...3!
This was a gorgeous hike that ran parallel to the sound. I wanted to see the seals that we kept hearing but couldn't quite figure out where they were.
Grandma sure had her hands full with us kids!

My Mom and I loved spending so much time with each other.
Grandma was trying to teach me the diverse intricacies in nature but I was just too adorable to not get my picture taken.

On the way back home, we stopped at China Lake Park for a wonderful picnic and yes, more blackberries!

Year One Week Nineteen

I give this week a thumb's up! Mom had a 3 day weekend because of Labor Day and we enjoyed it! Monday we went to the mall to do a bit of shopping. I was attracted to Tilt, the arcade in the mall.
Then after a battle with Verizon (who fried Dad's phone and lost all his phone numbers, appointments, birthday, etc) we went to Red Robin so we didn't have to worry about dinner too. Mom gave me a little sip of her freckled lemonade and I couldn't get enough of it! I am definitely a fan.
On Friday, we had a blast at the opening of the Puyallup Fair.

Unfortunately Mom had to work an extra long day with some of her accounts who flew into town so she was unable to join us. She enjoyed taking them to see the Mariner's annihilate the Yankees that night though! And I had a lot of fun with my cousins and family!
Saturday morning was spent with the Yoon family. Edan is so silly.
Speaking of silly, my Dad is one of a kind.
And we enjoy being silly together.
Saturday afternoon we played with the Kelly family. Mom and Aunt Missy were weeding, so I enjoyed "helping" them while playing in the dirt.

Sunday both families were all together again, we're here we're here. I sure love having family near by!

Year One Week Eighteen

This week was action packed as we hung out with a ton of friends and family who were visiting from out of town. We kicked off the adventures on Monday with the Fifes! Wii! They came home from Dominica during this week and we made sure to visit them. The Moms were really glad to see each other again. They even left us kids with the Dads for a time. We sure are going to miss the Fifes again even if we're planning to spend more time with them before they go back home next week.

My Dad took me over to play with the Yoons on Wednesday. We had a nice walk to the park and then went bonkers playing with the balls.
We even had a dunk contest!
On Thursday, I got to play with my Grandma Sheila, Uncle Ryan, and the Kellys. Jiho had an interview that evening so Edan and Isis came over to play too! Unfortunately, Shayla took a bad fall and spent most of the night at the hospital. She is recovering well but lost her bottom four teeth, sadly.
Friday came and we finally managed to connect with the Creeks. They were amazed at how much I had grown! But we were mesmerized by Nyah's astonishing reading ability. Can you believe that she's only three?! We also had the awesome opportunity to meet Aislan for the first time! Dane played a few songs for me and I absolutely loved it.
Saturday morning arrived and with it, so did A&W Glass with their precious baby Addalynn!

We had originally planned to spend the day at Dash Point but the morning was colder than anticipated so we just chilled at our house until Addie and I took our naps.
The weather improved greatly in the afternoon so we headed out to Glen Nelson Park to enjoy the playground and tennis courts.Grandma Denise was able to join us there too and meet Addalynn.

It was great to see the Glasses again but we were saddened when they got back on the road to their home in Utah. We needed to lift our spirits after saying goodbye so Dad and Aunt Bonnie made a Korean dinner for everybody. It was so delicious! (pay no mind to my silly Mom)
Josh and Lisa also stopped by for dinner so it was nice to see them again too!
On Sunday we took the day off to enjoy the beautiful day with each other.
