2012, Week Twelve

Here comes the sun and I say, it's alright.

Orlando treated Dallin to a wonderful night of music featuring the local school bands. Dallin liked most of the songs, and laughed at the size of Mary's really, really, really big tuba. (His words). Dallin also decided that he'd like to play the trumpet when he's older, as long as it's a silver one and not a gold one.

Dallin and Kylee enjoyed the sunshine.

Dallin introduced Looney Tunes to Shayla with hilarious results.

Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Tennis time! Mary joined the boys for some long-awaited fun in the sun.

Once Keegan got a hold of Orlando's racket, he didn't relinquish it until we got in the car. He sure looked cute!

To celebrate their TEN incredible years of marriage, Tara and Orlando returned where it all began at the Seattle Temple. They had an amazing time assisting sealing families together. Afterwards, they intended to dine out at Maggiano's but instead enjoyed an evening at Palomino's. Next time they will be sure to experience the former, regardless of the wait time. Meanwhile, Dallin had a blast at the slumber party at the Kellys where Kylee also joined in the fun.

Tara and Orlando continued their anniversary weekend with Missy and Shawn as they watched The Hunger Games together. Orlando and Missy who had previously read the books loved the movie but had to explain a few things to Tara and Shawn who hadn't. Shaky camera aside, it was a great movie experience!
It's too bad Dallin prefers his hair straight because we love how curly it can get!

TEN YEARS!! And the fun continues next weekend when Orlando takes Tara somewhere for some purpose which he won't reveal to anyone. Till then!

2012, Week Eleven

A hilarious week indeed!

The week started out with uncontrollable giggles at breakfast and barely let up.

We celebrated Aunt Missy's birthday at Red Robin. Happy birthday Aunt Missy!

Can you believe it snowed again?

Dallin was so proud of his giant snowball. Instead of throwing it at his Dad, he decided to eat it. Well, most of it.

Keegan was a little unsure about everything but definitely had his moments of joy.

Dallin wanted it to snow all day long so the fun wouldn't end.

Alas it rained and melted most of the snow, which in turn created huge puddles to jump in!

Another rainy day made for some creative activities involving discs.

Orlando found Dallin and Kylee in their secret place. They were being nice and quiet and reading books during Keegan's nap. How sweet!

Keegan loves books just as much as Dallin does. Especially when Dallin reads to him.

Much to our enormous delight, we arrived with Mary at the Museum of Flight.

Who doesn't want to fly after visiting this awesome place.

Even though we see planes in the sky everyday, it's easy to forget the sheer size of them when seeing them up close.

Major Mary and Captain Dallin flew a secret mission with complete success.

Keegan loved playing peek-a-boo with the astronaut suit.

We all had plenty of opportunities to achieve the highest score in the virtual hang gliding challenge. Mary accomplished the best result by landing just 68 feet from the target!

We accidentally stayed past visiting hours while watching a team set up gliders. It was fascinating to watch them assemble and display them so quickly. We still enjoyed the many airplanes featured outside.

A slight traffic jam on the way home was completely bearable when a double shot of this beauty dazzled our eyes and imaginations. In fact, it might have been the cause of the congestion!

We introduced Vegas Showdown to Mary who we discovered is a natural at board games when she vaulted to an early lead and held it right up to the end until Orlando surged ahead and claimed the victory. Enjoy your win while you can, Orlando, because it could be your last!

Dallin and Tara had a wonderful time at Kylee and Carson's birthday party.

The kids decided to form a band and sang their hearts out.

Lastly, we celebrated Uncle Shawn's birthday too!

2012, Week Ten
