Chad and I were invited by Jeff to another Avett Brothers concert. We had a blast, and loved the company and the concert equally!
Our life is often filled with costumes, and June was no exception.

All three kids attended McDermott Road's VBS this year, and they learned so much about the story of Daniel. It was amazing!

In the middle of VBS time, Payton had a little ballet time in the kitchen...
On the last night of VBS, the kids all wanted pictures with the characters.
The kids are already looking forward to next year!
In June we decided to have Payton do the swim lessons with Ms. Cindy just like the boys did a few years ago. While in Florida, Payton became quite the fishy, but she needed to learn how to turn over to breath in the water and be able to swim to the side if she ever fell in.

Ms. Cindy is tough, but effective! Payton screamed like a banshee the first week, but by week 3 she had learned so much!
Swim lessons completely exhausted her!
Payton stopped screaming (mostly) and began to enjoy her lessons and the fact that she was really becoming a swimmer.
After her last lesson, we had a Sonic ice cream treat to celebrate!! I'm so proud of my girl!
Father's Day is a wonderful weekend to celebrate Chad. It's bittersweet because I always miss my Daddy even more, but celebrating with my family is such a joy. Chad is a wonderful Daddy to our kids, and I couldn't have asked for a better one!
We went to Krispy Kreme that week...it just opened in Frisco! It really had no relation to Father's Day, but the kids having their first, hot Krispy Kreme is so special we had to document!
On Sunday, we had lunch with family at Wade and Amber's house.

Megan, Emily, and Will came for a visit in June, and we were all so excited!

On our last day with Megan, Emily, and Will, we went to see Inside Out with all the family. The movie was so incredible. Afterwards, we tried to grab a few pictures.
Emily was a little tired, but everyone else was all smiles!
