Team Johnston

Back in May, our good friend, Jenn, took the kids' pictures.  It was mostly for Payton's 1-year birthday, but obviously I had to have some of the boys too!  I love them all so much!

Our summer is off to a great start!  We are trying to enjoy as much outside play as we can before it his triple digits and being outside is almost unbearable!

A little kiddie pool action...they all love it!  Payton is a water baby, for sure.  She was also pretty sure that she could go up and down the slide just like her brothers, but she might need just a bit more time.  :-)

On Thursday we were off to Grammy & DadDad's for the day.  We had so much fun!  We had some rain, but in between showers, the kids enjoyed some pool and spa time.  The boys even jumped off the diving board!

On Friday we ate lunch at Frisco Commons - a wonderful park! - and then played for a while.  Seriously, we are just trying to soak it all in.  Plus, being cooped up in the house with 3 kids for too many days makes us all a little crazy.

New kicks for the girl!

Just a few pictures of my sweet and feisty little girl!  My goodness, how I love her!  She is all about climbing now, and gets around crawling very quickly.  Hopefully she walks in the next month or so!

Summer's off to a great start!

We've been talking about going to a baseball game for a while.  We wanted to take the kids before the ridiculously hot temperatures really start.  Thankfully, we live 10 minutes from the Frisco Rough Riders!

It was still pretty hot once we made it to our seats, but with our tickets we received free hats!  Yay!

We took a few breaks in the shade while Chad went to grab our hot dog dinner...

No need to worry about Payton...she's got herself covered!

We still might try to go to a Rangers' game soon, but we'll be leaving our girl Payton home for that.  :-)

Grammy and DadDad drive up to see us once a week, and we love it!  This past Thursday was Ranger's last day of preschool for the year, so the boys were feeling particularly excited about summer.  :-)

First, DadDad worked with Payton on her tricycle-riding skills.  She might need to be just a little bigger.

Then an epic water fight commenced!  There were water guns shooting everywhere!

And Grammy supplied extra ammunition by filling up water balloons!

What a fun way to start our summer break!!  I'm sure there will be many more water fights in our future!
