Boating Fun

Yes, B is in the middle of the lake all by herself! The rope had gotten too far away to reach it from the boat, so we threw her in and she swam to grab it. She's easy to lift in and out of the water so the logical choice!

Quick lunch break in the boat

 Walker even tried out skiing. He did get up, for about 5 seconds, and then he did the splits! He can't wait to try again next summer. His arms were too tired to keep trying!

Ottertail Beach

Our absolute favorite place to swim and play while in Minnesota is a small stretch of beach that is near the public access to Ottertail Lake. It's not officially a public beach but we are rarely the only ones there. Soft sand, clear water, multiple depths for lots of fun. Many afternoons this is our place of relaxation and unwinding even while on vacation!

I love this picture! It shows why we love this beach just so much. Everyone doing what they love! Matt with his toes in the sand playing with the kids, Walker playing catch with Matt, Rylie looking for shells, B digging and building castles and I'm getting to watch over my family and see them all happy.
