We had a fun visit with the Kuehne girls over Bryan's birthday weekend. Adayla did not make it in any of the pictures, DANG IT! Madden loved having Binx back at our house for a few days. He would be on the couch and say, "I want Binx to come and snuggle with me." It is always fun to have family from out of town come to visit. All the kids had a big sleepover on the floor in Madden's room the first night they were here.

Bryan could not have a birthday without a cookie cake from Great American Cookie Co. So, Madden and I headed to pick it up on Saturday afternoon. On the way to get in the car, Madden was blown over by the wind. He now has a fear of the wind. Every time we are outside and the wind starts to blow. He freaks out and wants to come inside. I will ask if he wants to go play outside and he will always ask if it windy.

Sunday we celebrated Bryan's birthday by grilling burgers and having cake. Madden did pick Daddy out a couple shirts for his birthday. He now thinks that is what he wants for his birthday is some birthday shirts.

We had fun having the Kuehne's here. We made a couple trips to the park, since the weather was decent. Morgan made us some hot balls popcorn. We left the kids with Bryan for an hour of girl time. Just like that the visit was over, except for one thing. The flu followed!! It would not be a visit without sending them on their way with a bug.

I don't know what to say about the red head. He must have learned that dance from his mom, because his dad has more rhythm than that.

Opening Day Parade

Reds Opening Day Parade was March 31st. It was about 35 degrees outside. I decided the day before that since the boys and I had yet to be out of the house, it would be a fun adventure. However, my pregnant brain forgot to remember the last trip down to the river. Rustin was happy as a peach the three mile walk to were the parade was. Madden and Rustin were content waiting for the parade to start. Fruit snacks are one of the best foods ever invented. The fleet of police motorcycles at the beginning of the parade did Rustin in. He screamed at the top of his lungs, until he feel asleep about an hour later. We did not stick around for the duration of the parade. After stares, glares and several comments from people around us we decided to go on a walk. (Note: Do not EVER cross the street for a parade, if there is a possibility you may want to leave before the end. We walked an extra mile trying to cross the street to be able to leave.)
