So, I haven't properly updated since the beginning of the month. What has happened? Well, Ver came home with me, and we visited Mike in NYC for a couple of days. He had a wonderful apartment right by the Hudson, with a terrace where I could smoke and watch the sunset and see construction in New Jersey. There was my little sister's communion party the Saturday before which was perpetual drunkenness (well, with my family, it always is). I like how we turned a religious party into just a party. Who else but my family would buy a keg for a nine year old's first communion party?
I got to visit with the BRC, and we actually talked. Really and truly, and it was grand. I know them better now, which is lovely. We saw Silent Hill, which really fell on its face with the hot nurse pop and lock dance troupe. I remember Buger King, and then the delicious everything bagel (with salt!) from the place by Christa's. Plus, now Christa loves Keifer, so I have an ally in the Sutherland love, though mine may be exclusively for Donald.
I got a job (!) as a diner waitress, and I'm in training (boo) so I've been working everyday this week. I like it. It's fast paced, and sociable. I always forget how much Latino men like blonde hair and blue eyes until I'm suddenly surrounded by nothing but ('I can't help it, Mami, I'm Latino,' they say). I'm going to work late night, which is just perfect because then I get to have my sleeping pattern.
Audrey trimmed my hair. I went shopping at Forever 21 for the first time ever and got a bunch of really cute tops. Brian got me two nice racerback beaters from Hollister (attached with the note: 'Congrats on the first day of work. Yep, Brian'). I finally found slim fit jeans (from H&M of all places), and I bought two pair! I have spent hundreds of dollars this month, but now I have a job, so it's sort of alright (shut up).
Ok, Beauty and the Beast is over, and I meant to fall asleep to that, so bed now. Mike kept me awake with his terrifying dreams. He really does have the most awful dreams (in his own words: 'I've stood by while shadows frenzy for faces, beheaded an angel while being raped by it, opened the gate to hell, and have turned into a tree'). And, I got to talk to Jayme and Ver tonight, so I'm very happy.
Oh, and speaking of this icon, (death note spoiler!!!), my love has now killed Yagami Raito.
I really wanted to go to sleep two hours ago, but I couldn't. I honestly lay in bed for an hour before giving up. I need sleep, damnit. Why can't I just get in bed and go to sleep? I'm so tired!
Plus, my nose won't stop running. Bkeh. Glark.
I hate you.

Ok, so BRC: I pretty much have the entirety of FMA on my computer right now. Perhaps we should add that to the list of things-to-hold-a-marathon-of-over-hols?
I need sleeeeeeeep so badly. I've sneezed probably 80,000 times today, and each time, my throat feels like it's exploding. That's no good, children.
Jaws is on TV. Apparently, Verity really digs it. I think it's because the nerdy scientist ends up as everyone's savior.
Pope John Paul II, you rocked in life. You rock even harder in death because you get me a day off from school. Friday, April 8. Whatsoever shall I do with the free time? One again, thank you JPII.
Today, MTG informed me that I'm not the "average Villa girl." And I love Annie-san/Mai Anh and will miss her terribly next year. Annie, I will buy you a plane ticket to Boston so you can visit me.
Tomorrow, mini-Quintessence/BRC meeting at Kristin's because she has Publisher. That guarantees to be tons of fun. Also, I must work on the Poet Laureate posters. Violets and Pansies, must remember violets and pansies.
ETA: Dude, it's 4/5. It's now been officially 11 years since Kurt Cobain splattered his cranial matter all over his attic.
OK, just because I think it's weird: Terri Schiavo, Mitch Hedberg, Pope John Paul II all died and bad/good things usually come in threes. Of all of them, I'm the most torn up about Mitch. His death was a surprise (well, I knew he did drugs, but still).
I saw Sin City twice this weekend and it only got sweeter. Also saw Guess Who after Sin City last night. It was cute and funny, and Ashton Kutcher has the coolest nose. Anne agreed with me. Also found out last night that Anne's real name is Mai Anh (My Ing phonetically) but everyone just calls her Anne. How weird. Anne also complemented me on my accent, but then couldn't think of the word for lily so my Vietnamese name is Hoa (which means flower, is ugly, and is usually applied to men). I also bought Guero by Beck last night because Beck is the coolest musician ever, and he's not dead so that's something new for me.
I've officially decided on BU as they've given me the most money and they were my second choice. Anyway, I was totally meant to go there because twice deadlines were extended, which enabled me to 1) try for a scholarship (which I didn't get) and 2) actually apply there. So, I'm really excited as is Michelle because now I'll be really close to her and Jake. And it's especially good because Jake works at Harvard, which is really close to BU. So, that's all very exciting for me and boring for everyone else. It's also very nerve-wracking because I have issues with change.
I also want to give my congratulations and condolences to everyone as college news rolls in. I also want to make a point to say that just because one is not accepted to their number one, he/she is no less an excellent person. Which sounds cheesy but it needs to be said because some people can't realize their ability without being smacked in the face with the fact of it.
So, this is possibly the longest update I've ever had. I'll stop now. Also, just want to add that I hate losing this hour. It's evil!
Mitch Hedberg is dead. I was kind of hoping it was an April Fool's joke. It didn't say it on his official website, but E! has been reporting it since last night. Poo, and I could have seen him in January. Now I never will.

SHIT, SON. Kirsten! I am sorry that CA didn't work out, but even more and am so thrilled that you are coming back to PA! Glad you are taking it as a good thing, though.
