The rain finally lifted today and the sun came out. The breeze cooled off the world around me. As I sit her tonight once again thanking God for all the blessings he has given me, I am watching my husband sleep on the couch, and I am rocking my first born to sleep in my arms. I can smell the sweetness of him. I can feel the warmth between us from where my cheek rests on his head. As I rock him I feel a sense of peace and pride as I have one spectacular view from my rocker (as if the view in my house was not great enough), the neighbors flag. Blowing in the breeze and the sun setting behind, it reminds me of the more blessings than just my family. When there is so much travesty in the world, when war has become common, when honesty, sincerity, and love sometimes get lost in the day, I get to look out my window and feel pride of not only my country, but also of my family.

Rainy Days

This past weekend we were sitting Spud for Adam and Kari. Looks like everyone got along great. It was a rainy day today, and the dogs seem to be really tired after playing all day.

What pals.

A family affair.

What a look.

Wow, they look alike.

Gerrr. Go Griz!

Have a GrEat Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

Just Playin

The other day Grandma Micki babysat Brock. I just pulled my camera out to take a look at the pictures to see if there were any new ones on there to post. It looks like the two of them had a great afternoon! Thanks for the photos mom!

Brock loves the camera.

I can see what Brock is thinking... "put down the camera Grandma and help me with my toys."

I can pull all my toys out, but can you put them back in???

What a Pair

Today was a hot one. My husband, the sweetheart he is turned on the sprinklers for Champ to run through. Brock was very entertained.

What a cutie pie! He is growing up so fast. He sits in his own chair all by himself.

Champ is getting a drink, while like father like son watch.

Hey guys!

I love these two.

Peace

I found myself this evening staring out our picture window, watching the breeze rustle our front yard tree, and the clouds slowly creep by as the sun set behind. There is a sense of peace in my house tonight. Quiet. My husband is on the road yet again (bless his heart). My dog just found her way to her bed (she knows when no more treats come out it is time to retire). My son is nestled cozily in his crib.
I feel completely blessed for moments like these when I realized that we have everything and more that we need. That we are loved and taken care of. May you each have sweet dreams tonight and a bright morning tomorrow. Peace.
