Finally
Well, I'm finally done with the chest of drawers for CG's room. I got motivated when I was looking back at the blog and realized that we bought the dresser in April. Of course, it only took me two days to finish it, not sure why I kept putting it off.
So here it is...
I used the hardware from the original dresser, just spray painted it black.

Buddies
On Sunday we went over to our friends the Tracys to hang out. Our little ones are one day apart. Declan was born the day before CG. It was cool to see where CG is developmentally in comparison to Declan. She isn't too far behind. Just more proof that she is awesome.

CG and Annie had some snuggle time this morning while Jon and I got ready. Annie was a bit annoyed because CG kept kicking her.

4 MONTHS!
Can you believe it! Our little sweetie pie is 4 months old today! Oh what fun she is and the love...the love for that girl is ridiculous.
I can't say there is much to discuss about her doings. She is a BIG TIME sleeper. She will eat every 3 hours during the day, but when we put her down at 7 for bed she is O-U-T out! She will sleep for 12-13 hours. We are going the first of October to meet her new doctor, so I plan to ask if this is normal...don't get me wrong I love that she sleeps so much, but I want to make sure she is getting the nutrition she needs.
She still smiles like crazy at her dad. Anytime he walks into the room she just lights up. So jealous. In fact, during our photo shoot, Dad came in...
CG has rolled over twice since Thursday night from tummy to back. It's really cute because she doesn't know what happened or how to get back to her tummy. (She sleeps on her tummy, don't judge.) So she just yells out at us. Which is another cute things she is doing..."talking".
I don't know how much she weighs but she is putting on the pounds and length from the looks of it. She is fitting into 3-6 months clothing. We had a few cool days here and realized that she, like her parents, does not have any cool weather clothing. Luckily there was a consignment sale going on so I picked up a few things.

Car Seat
We have some exciting news in baby world around here. First some back story. CG has had acid reflux for a while now and as a result she needs to be upright for about 20-30 minutes after she eats. When you are getting no sleep, it is the middle of the night, and CG wants to eat for an hour the last thing on your mind is holding her upright for an additional 30 minutes only to do it again a few minutes later. So we would put her in the car seat at night knowing full well that we would have to transition her to the crib eventually. Not something I was looking forward to.
Well she has been sleeping through the night consistently, therefore, there is not a big need for the car seat anymore. So we have been taking action. We started with her naps, which she is taking all of them in her crib now. Then on Wednesday night we put her down in her crib which lasted until 1:30am. So after feeding and calming her down we put her in the car seat. Last night we put her down in the crib, she found her hand to suck on, and she didn't wake up until almost 8:30 this morning. I'm not saying this is permanent, but I am say it is pretty awesome.
Because CG is so amazing does this mean our next child is going to be terrible?!
