Good Bye Table

Another craigslist victory...our dining room table. I'm actually rather sad to see it leave. This was a gift from Jon for my birthday several years ago. He bought it and surprised me one day when I came home from work. He had it all put together and sitting in the room. Great memory!

Murphys

Our last night to hang out with the Murphys while we live in the same city. We love you guys so much (and so do our children). We will miss you and look forward to many Skype dates!

Good Bye Couch

After seven years Jon is finally able to say good-bye to his couch.

2 Month Stats

We had our 2 month well check today with a side of 3 shots. Yuck. CG is coming in at 8 pounds 0.5 ounces and 20.5 inches long...all in the less than 5th percentile. So she's small for her age :)

2 Months

Today our sweet baby is 2 months old. So far we have had a few nights of 6-7 hours of sleep. CG is sitting up so much better than just a month ago. She is very strong and accidentally turned over in desperation for food. She is also starting to track things with her eyes and looks at you like you are crazy. We just love her so much, God has truly blessed.

Last Sunday

Today was our last Sunday with our amazing church family. We will miss them so much.

Target

How can it be that my daughter is almost 8 weeks old and this is her first trip to Target?!

The Due Date

July 15, 2011...my due date! It is hard to believe that little CG was not supposed to arrive until today. So many unanswered questions...how big would she have been? How big would I have been? How would we have managed moving with a two week old? How could I have waited another 7 weeks to meet her?

I am so thankful for all that has happened. Jon and I have learned so much about caring for a baby, mostly from the amazing NICU nurses. What kind of trouble would we have been in had we not learned from them. CG is an amazingly beautiful child and we praise God for her health, strength, and love everyday!

Packing

The packing has officially started. We have two weeks and two days left in Austin. This is not going to be an easy move emotionally. Physically it will be easy because I'm selling everything I can.

Fatty

Our little one had a weight check today and she is 7 pounds 3.5 ounces! The nurse was speechless.

Pictures

We had a photo shot with CG on Tuesday. It was probably the worst she has ever been. I've never seen her pee so much. And she just didn't want to settle down. Could it be that we were trying to put her in small baskets with feathers and bows?!

In the end she was so tired we were finally able to get some great shots. Thank you Ben Lamb for being so patient with CG and her parents.

Three miles

I haven't gone 3 miles non-stop since I was 18 weeks pregnant. It's good to be back.

Dessert night

We had a late lunch on Sunday so instead of dinner we each picked out a dessert to share with each other. I say we all did a great job.

Church

Our first visit to church...such a cutie! She did great. She slept the entire time and only made a few of her usual grunting noises.

Uncle Cameron and Aunt Tiffany

CG got to meet her Uncle Cameron and Aunt Tiffany. Now we just need Uncle Nathan to come visit!

Nap

Grandpa Lamb came to visit and we all had such a great time we needed a group nap!

We went for another weigh in on Friday and our sweet fatty is now 6 pounds 3 ounces! She has gained 2 pounds and 2 inches in her 5 weeks of life.
