Everything Jensen

Here are a few summer snapshots that didn't make it into other posts. But, we like them and wanted to make sure we recorded them somewhere other than the vast and unsorted digital black holes that are our iPhones.   Always head first..  Bounced out of a bouncey castle and hit the sidewalk... but the way she tells it, "Hulk SMASH sidewalk!"  Going for a ride! Next week, Melinda starts her grad school program with Purdue. So, for the next 20 months, things will be a little extra busy. But, really, what's new?     So, before Mommy buries herself in text books, the Jensen girls all went out for a group date. Melinda took the girls to the "salon" for the Princess Package. Hair was trimmed and styled, nails were painted and they were even given their own bags of make up with eye shadow and lip gloss.   The girls felt GLAMOROUS. They loved having their hair wrapped up in towels (like mommy does! - who knew I was so cool?). And, they were so excited to pick all their accessory colors and watch "Frozen" while they were pampered.   Picking colors for Eleanor was easy. Nail polish? Pink! Lip Gloss? Pink! Eye Shadow? Pink! An update! An update! We got an update! It's been almost four months since we've had an updated from Gaung Chi's orphanage. And, we were so, so, so very excited to get a message from them today. All good news. He's healthier than he was last April, happy, playful and growing quickly! The kids were quick to note that at 34", he's now tall enough to ride some Legoland rides with them (they can't wait!). And, the best part about the update? Pictures! Gaung Chi's immigration paperwork is taking a LOT longer than we had hoped. We are so anxious to hold our little boy in our arms. It looks like we'll finally be able to travel late September or early October. Until then, these new pictures will have to do.
