New Year's Eve

Yea. I'm behind, I know. Anyway....who doesn't love a February New Year's Eve update, huh?

So to ring in 2011 we headed to the lake for some food, cocktails, friends and more food. Like, a lot of food. Unbutton your pants cause they hurt level of food. It was glorious. Below are some pics from the evening which I took using my "borrowed" camera from Lucky Charms. He's going to argue with the definition of "borrowed" in that his definition means that said item gets returned....and my definition means I'll use it as long as I need it, namely....FOREVER.

I don't really know if "tablescape" is the right word, but that blond lady Sandra Lee on the Food Network is always going on and on about how you have to have a great tablescape. That being said, one time in New York I sat next to a girl at lunch who worked at the Food Network and was gossiping to her friend about how Sandra Lee was a raging alcoholic (and if you watch her show its not hard to imagine) and hard it was for everyone on the set to deal with her. The girl didn't know I was eavesdropping AND a huge Food Network fan. It was great, it made my day. I mean, honestly, I've tried like five of her recepies and they were poop. She had it comin'.
