WINEGAR FAM-APRIL

The twins pulled an April fools joke on me!! One of those crazies changed the temperature on the fridge to way high and ALL the food went bad!! We had chunky milk, rotten egg smell and moldy everything!! Only
the applesauce survived! I had to throw just about everything away!! Jokes on me right? Those little stinkers!!

On August 2nd, Sam and I were able to attend Austin Haney, one of Dan's best friends, baptism. It was a cool experience. The spirit was very strong as we watched him enter the waters of baptism. I couldn't help but think it was through the example of all his amazing friends that led him to the gospel. It made me miss Dan even more!!

On April 6th, Crew and Tessa were doing their usual chase each other around the house thing. Crew ran into the living room and jumped on one of the rocking chairs. He didn't jump right in the center of the chair though and because the chairs swivel and because he was moving so quick the chair kind of spun away from him throwing him off the chair and into the wall. He stood up and rubbed his head and cried for a split second and then was off chasing Tess again. As he is running away I notice blood dripping down onto his white shirt. He had totally split his head open and it was just gushing blood. I took him up to Primary Children's where they cleaned it out really good, put some numbing stuff on for a minute and then put 3 staples over the cut. He was so brave and didn't even cry! Tough kid!! SO we are doing well with the ER lately!!

We were able to all go to St. George before we move!! It was so much fun!! We went swimming, hiking, biking, to parks, to the Children's Museum, to splash pads, to Snow Canyon and never stopped!! We had a blast being all together!! (Jessica, Jesse and Berklee joined us as well and Bill and Barb were there for a couple days too)

Easter Sunday was so fun!! The kids had so much fun at an Easter Egg hunt and then finding their Easter baskets that morning!! Crew and Tess were obsessed with "Chocolate Eggs" this year!! Man am I glad we wont be buying anymore of those! Holidays are so much fun with kids!

WINEGAR FAM-MARCH

We had a traumatic experience this month. On Monday night March 3rd we were getting the kids ready for bed. Tessa being her usual crazy self was wrestling me as I tried to change her diaper and get her pajamas on. She was on our bed and I had just got her diaper on and turned my back to grab her PJ's off the ground behind me as she rolled over to try and get away from me and fell off the bed. She landed on her arm backwards and immediately began to cry in pain. I had turned around in time to see the fall and knew right away something was wrong. Cade took her to instacare where they first thought it was just dislocated. After several tries of popping it back into place they THEN decided to do an x-ray...umm okay! The x-ray showed she had broken her elbow. They put her in a soft cast and a sling and we scheduled to take her to Primary Childrens the following Wednesday after swelling had gone down. The next week she got a hard PURPLE cast!! She asked me if she could get a pink one on the other arm! She loved her cast and wore it for the next 2 weeks! She never ever complained! She was such a good sport! The hardest part was not getting it wet! You would think she would be a little less crazy with her cast but OH NO!! She was still jumping off the couch, jumping on the bed, wrestling Crewman and running full speed ahead! Nothing stops this girl.

Cade had a birthday SHOUT HURRAY!! He turned 32 this year!! What an old man...But so young at heart! We celebrated by going to 5 ALLS!! We couldn't help but think of Mom and Dad the whole time!

Trek continues to be the happiest baby ever!! His personality is so much fun! He absolutely adores his sister!! She can always get him to laugh..but lets be honest its not too hard. When he's not spitting up he is laughing or smiling!

WINEGAR FAM-FEBRUARY

On February 9th, our sweet Trek was blessed! It was such a neat day! Cade gave him a beautiful blessing and during the blessing I was able to feel the sweet spirit of how precious newborn babies are! We have been so grateful for Trek and his health. He has brought our home a special spirit and we are loving him so much. We were lucky to have so many family members there but we sure missed the one's who couldn't come. Trek was able to wear the same outfit Crew was blessed in.

For Valentines Day at Crew's school they had a Mad Hatter Tea Party! They were supposed to wear their Tea Party Best!! He brought home a bunch of Valentines to share with Tessa!

We were also able to go watch Sam coach a Brighton High School basketball game. Way to go Coach!!

WINEGAR FAM-JANUARY

We started out the new year great!! Still loving every minute of our sweet baby Trek. He is growing so fast! At his 2 month check up he was in the 80th percentile for height so Cade is really excited and hoping for the Lancaster genes!!

So Cade a change in employment this month. He decided he wanted to work with his brother in doing a home healthcare business. His brother Jake and his friend Matt bought this business about a year ago and neither of them have had the time to work and grow the business. Cade decided to quit his teaching job and give his full time to this business to help grow it. He bought out Matt and now owns the business with his brother. It's called Family First Homecare. Cade is doing very well in getting that going and enjoying it. He was sad to leave the Junior High teaching job but we are excited for this new opportunity.

Tiff celebrated her 27th birthday!! Happy Birthday Tiff!!

On a small side note..not that we really want to remember this BUT Crew and Tessa think its funny to take their clothes AND diaper off during naps or night! They wake up all the time completely naked and soaked...GROSS!! Well lucky it was only #1 at least for a couple of weeks. Then they started doing it even with #2...now that is DISGUSTING!! We had several incidents when Tessa smeared it all over the walls, door knob, baby crib, pack-n-play, carpet and her bed. Fingers crossed--this only happened for 3 weeks and we really hope this phase has passed!! (Picture not included)
