The babies are free!!!

The babies are now both free from their oxygen and their feeding tubes!!! Yeah!!! They look so cute with no tubes going in their noses and are so much happier!!! Life will be a whole lot easier for Tiff and Cade now as well!!!

Katie's Pre-School Graduation

We went to Katie's pre-school graduation today. It was fun to see her at pre-school! She had a great year and will really miss going! Thanks for letting us come, Katie! We love you!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Rudd!

Grandpa Rudd turned 93 today!!! He's still is pretty good shape, except his shingles still bother him quite a bit (after 7 years!) and his legs get pretty weak, but his mind is sharper than mine!!! He's such a great example to all of us and is certainly Charlie's hero. He's still pulls out his "mouse" act for Julie's kids and has still got his sense of humor! The kids and spouses went to dinner at the Sizzler tonight in celebration of his birthday. We had a great time just laughing and talking! Every year now, we wonder if this birthday will be his last, but he just keeps going! We love you Grandpa!!! Thanks for all you do for us!!! You're the best!

The church has just built a new central Bishop's storehouse out by the airport and they have named the street that it's on Glen Rudd Parkway. That's pretty cool for an old guy!!! Not many people get a street named after them!

Prom!

Dan asked Brittany Bangerter to prom this year. He did the water thing in her room, where he filled about 1300 small paper cups with water, put a pair of pants on her bed with frozen peas sprinkled all over them and said "I'll pea my pants if you don't go to prom with me!" This is how she answered him...

Kind of a cute way to answer the already gross way to ask! They had a really fun time. They started at 10:00 a.m. with indoor surfing in Ogden. Then went to dinner at Market Street, the dance and then came to our house and watched a movie on the rec room window in the back yard. (using the projector!) Here's Dan before he left! He looked pretty sharp!

Happy Mother's day!

Mother's Day was great, but especially great for Tiff!!! Crew and Tessa were both able to come home on Sunday, May 8th, 2011 after spending two days shy of five months in the hospital! Another miracle that they were able to come home together! Crew weighs 8 lbs. 5 oz and Tessa weighs 7 lbs. 13 oz! They've come a long way from 1 lb 9 oz and 1 lb 4 oz! They are doing well and the last week has been a very busy, eye opening experience for me! I had know idea how much work twins were. I have been able to spend a lot of the week at her house helping her and Cade get settled into taking care of them and the extra medical attention that they still need.

They are adorable and it's so good to have them home! Happy Mother's Day Tiff!!!

Lancaster party

Saturday night we had a party at Grandma Lancaster's house. It was planned as our last party before Julie and Jeff leave for Texas. Ya, that's right....they are moving to Texas!!! I know I shouldn't say I'm so mad, but I'm so mad!!! Don't get me wrong, I am very, very grateful Jeff was able to get a job, but I am just so sad because I will really miss them! Especially those cute hugs and kisses I get from Emily and Katie! We'll be learning how to skype, (don't know how to spell that) and we will be talking a lot! Jeff has promised us that they will move back, so that's what I'm holding on to!!!

I've been able to spend the week at Debbie's house, helping her with Carli! It's been such a fun week. She is such a sweet little thing and is a really good baby. She reminds me a lot of Deb when she was born...it's kinda like looking at Debbie with dark hair!!! Here's Debbie...

Dan's last recital:(

This was a sad night...Dan's last piano recital! After ten and a half years he is quitting piano lessons. Carolyn Stock has been a part of our family for so long and it will be weird to not write her a check each month and have someone going to piano lessons every week. I love her for what she has taught Julie, Sam, Tom and Dan and for the love of music she has given each one of them. She's the best!!!

Tiff made me a Heath Bar Cake and we had a little get together last night at her house!  Thanks Tiff!  I have the best kids ever!!!!!  (1 is a lot better than 52!!!)
