The Big Fork!

Today Julie took all their Christmas presents down to Woodruff Sales so they could be shipped off to Texas.  Grandpa had fun driving Katie and Cameron around the warehouse on the fork lift!

Zoo Lights

 Charlie had some tickets to Zoo Lights up at Hoagle Zoo, which Cameron and Katie love, and he wanted to take them up to check it out.  They went last night and Debbie and Carli went with them.  It was freezing, but they all bundled up and had a great time!!!

 They rented a stroller for Carli and Emmers, but Carli didn't last long in it, so Katie hopped in!!!

Merry Christmas...2011

Christmas morning started right where we left off the night before!!!  We had a wonderful day.  It was a little different than usual because it was Sunday.  We were only having sacrament meeting, and that did not start until noon.  So we started the morning off with Katie putting up the star...and Grandpa checking to see if Santa had come!!!  Sure enough...he did!!!  Not as much as usual, but he still came and we had a great morning.

After presents and breakfast we got ready for church.  It was a really different meeting for me because after 25 straight years of playing the piano for the ward choir, I had been released and was not playing.  I was sitting down in the congregation!!!  I really missed being a part of the Ward Choir Christmas Program!  Maybe next year I will sing.  That's pretty weird too, though; going to choir practice and singing rather than playing!!!

After church the Winegars and Hansens came over and we opened more presents!  We had a great day being together!  Family is what it's all about!!!

Christmas Eve

We had a lot of fun on Christmas Eve this year.  Everybody was here, except Tom...still in England.  We missed having him here.  Lots of the same traditions...just hangin around, getting last minute things ready for Christmas, the guys going to a movie in the afternoon. (Mission Impossible)  Then dinner with Omaha steaks, baked potatos, sarah salad and rolls, with peppermint ice cream, hot fudge and cashews.  Then there were presents, Mr. Kruegers and Sesame Street!  Good times!!!  Christmas Eve has always been the best!!!
