Many of you know that we have been in the process of remodeling our house this year.   I don't think I have shown any comparison photos.....here are a few of the family room.

Twenty, 20, 2-0, 8+12, etc.....

Mike and I (and Reese) went down to Tulsa this evening to celebrate our anniversary! We went ice skating in downtown Tulsa and saw a Tulsa Oilers game.  We didn't break any bones, and the Oilers won!!!

20 Years

Twenty years ago today.....Mike and I got married at Calvary Baptist Church in Colorado!  It's hard to believe that it's been twenty years already!      Like any marriage, ours has been filled with it's share of ups and downs.....but, looking back on the past 20 years and where we are at today, it has all been worth it!  I am blessed with a wonderful family and fantastic husband!  Here's to twenty more years!!!

Christmas Day

We had a lovely Christmas Day.  Started our morning by seeing what Santa brought!  An electric guitar and a compound bow!!  Even more interesting was the outfit that Reese put together for the day (it wouldn't be complete without the Christmas socks!)

We next opened our stockings, followed by a wonderful breakfast of cinnamon rolls and breakfast burritos!  Yum!!!  

We were grateful for the many wonderful presents that we received!  Far too many to show them all here!  One entertaining gift was a ginormous box of chocolates!!!

Mike got the movie Deliverance!  We all know the famous dueling banjos scene, but we were trying to remember if either of us had ever seen the whole thing!!

Oh my goodness......he is just the cutest young man!!!  Love this kid!!!

I can't decide which picture I like better!!!  Oh yeah....if you hadn't noticed.....Reese got contacts a few weeks ago!  Sometime between stockings and presents he went and put them in.  He's doing so good with them!  Very impressive!!!  I know that I couldn't do it.  The thought of touching my eyeballs gives me the heebie-jeebies!  Yikes!!

It's Mr. Apple!!!

Mr. Apple is a 1972 children's toy that makes chime noises.  It has been in Reese's pediatrician's office since we moved to Bartlesville.  He plays with it every time he has his annual check-up!  Since he just had his 12 year old visit in November (and played with the apple again), Mike thought it would be fun if Reese had his very own apple!  So, no....we didn't take it from the doctor's office....but, we were able to find one out on ebay!!  Ebay has everything!!!  It was priceless to see the look on Reese's face when he opened the box!

So that was our Christmas.....along with a dose of Miracle on 34th Street, A Christmas Carol,  A Christmas Story and the first season of Modern Family.....okay....not the whole first season, but a few of the episodes.  I've been hearing that Modern Family is a great show....and we can all now confirm that it is!!!
