Mike and I spent our 18th Anniversary at DisneyWorld!!!


I'll add a slide show of more of the pictures. I took a lot....of course!!! We were at the park ALL DAY. Got there at 8:30 in the morning and didn't leave until 10:30 at night. Long day. I really felt my age on that one!!! But despite the crowds (did I mention it was the most crowded weekend of the year?), we had a great time! The tickets were our Christmas present from Kelly and family. We really enjoyed it!

Christmas Afternoon

Here is how we spent Christmas afternoon. While Bartlesville was getting its second-ever blizzard....we were enjoying a Florida rainstorm!! Or rather, Reese was enjoying his "wet" Christmas!

On the morning of Christmas Eve, the boys all ran over to the military base to look at some planes. The girls all stayed back at the house.....I got to go on a nice long walk with Hanna.




Chloe redecorated her room during naptime.


Reese played games with the neighbor kids.


Then....we all made sugar cookies.....pictures to follow!

Presents!

Words cannot describe how many presents were at Kelly's house. So here's a picture! They had to be stored in a separate room so that Chloe wouldn't open all of them before Christmas!

Saint Augustine - Dec 23rd

After the war museum and the playground, we finally made it to Saint Augustine. What a fantastic little city. I REALLY enjoyed Saint Augustine quite a bit. It's hard to capture all of the charm of it on a blog, but it was a little pedestrian shopping village built around an old historic fort (complete with moat and drawbridge!). According to the sign I read (and my sister), Saint Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. Did I mention how much I liked it there?

Reese bought a silver ring with his name engraved on it. Poor kid can never find his name pre-made on anything since it is so uncommon.



Oldest wooden school house in the US.


Reese.....after eating the world's hottest hot sauce. I can vouch for its hottness. That stuff stayed with you for about 20 minutes. They would only give you a little toothpick worth of it. Apparently it only takes 2-3 drops to flavor a full pot of chili. Yikes! Those who were brave enough to try it got a sticker!

This door was the perfect size for Chloe. A little harder for us grown-ups to get through. It led to a secret room!


Me and my little sis. I really like this picture (even if I still have that whole crazy hair thing going on!). The black door made for a really neat backdrop.


Wow....so many pictures to share from Saint Augustine. Can you tell how much I enjoyed it?

This next photo would have made a good Christmas card!!! Remind me to post a picture of our 2009 Christmas card. I only sent out 20 cards this year....and that was a last ditch effort. So, sorry to those who didn't get one!
