The kids and I had a pretty relaxing Thanksgiving as we did not really have to cook much. Max had to work so he organzied a meal for the families at the fire station so we went there to eat a great meal. The kids had a blast playing with the other kids that were there. It was the first time Max and I realized the kids were getting old enough to play by themselves with other kids. It was nice.
Before we went to the station Wyatt, Kaylynn and I baked Thanksgiving sugar cookies. They loved taking the cookies apart and placing them on the cookie sheet but most of all they loved eating dough.
Even though Max had to work Thanksgiving and Black Friday -- Christy, Michelle and I went our Black Friday shopping. It started at 10pm this year (which I was not a fan of) so we went to Toy r us first and then to Kohls at Midnight and finally I got home about 3 am. It made for a bit of a tiring day but I love shopping on Black Friday.
