Hardening furnace

Specifications:

Washing system

Pit Furnaces & Hood Furnaces

Pit furnaces are among the most versatile heat treatment installations in the metalworking industry. They are especially used for annealing and spheroidizing low‑carbon wire steel, which improves the mechanical properties of the material and facilitates further processing. In addition, pit furnaces are suitable for annealing steel belts to achieve a uniform microstructure and improved dimensional stability. Beyond steel processing, they are also used for heat treatment of non-ferrous metals: copper and various light metal alloys can be treated precisely in pit furnaces to adapt their strength, conductivity, or formability to specific requirements.
