Aren't you fed-up with garbage, full-of-shit sites where nobody actually communicates, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter? Do you wish your old friends who've migrated to those sites would return to LiveJournal? The the_lj_revival community has been set up with that aim in mind, and you are invited to join it. If you are already on LiveJournal and still have a Facebook profile, and would like to see more people returning to LJ or setting up accounts here, we invite you to post a link to this community on your Facebook Timeline. If you would like to find out who is still using LiveJournal and make contact with those who are already here, you are invited to copy and paste the 'about me' questions on the profile page and post them with your answers to the community.

For the ladies involved in committed/long term relationships with men... [Mar. 18th, 2010|08:59 pm]

Do you ever wish you could be with a woman again? If yes, how does your SO handle it??

Here's my dillemma:

I am a poly, bisexual female in a 6 year relationship with my fiance. I LOVE women...everything about them. When I entered into this relationship with my SO, we both intended it to be monogammous. Then he started to bug me for a threesome...for years this went on, and last year, after our roomate moved in, I caved in and we had a threesome with her (which wasn't very good to any of us)...but since before then, i've been craving sexual attention from a female...obviously not from a male, I get all of that I want. My SO is totally against bringing anyone else into the relationship, but I just find myself lacking something. My roomate has always been involved in relationships with men, but she always has it to where the men she dates allow her to have a girlfriend also, they just don't mind, as long as they can be involved in some way. My fiance is not so open, but I wish he was.
What should I do? I will not go behind his back and cheat, that is out of the question. I brought up the idea of having another threesome with another female, just so I could be with a woman again without leaving him out, and he says no. So now i'm stuck. How would you ladies handle this?

For those of you in open relationships (as in, being married and allowed to have girlfriends, or vice-versa), what is your SO's take on it?? How do you meet people you plan on "being with"??

Gender roles and mannerisms as a bisexual... [Mar. 17th, 2010|01:58 pm]
For those who love only one but like everyone.

Something has been bugging me for a bit now, and I guess I need some input from you lovely bisexuals, because I just know someone here will understand :)
My issue is, i'm having trouble with my flexible "role" in a relationship. Thing is, when i'm dating a female, my disposition is more dominant than when i'm with a male. I feel more in control, not necessarily butch, but more of a "top" than a bottom...I guess what i'm saying is, while i'm not the "girly girl" and I don't really act like a guy either. I guess the best way to put it in an analogy would be: I wouldn't be the one GIVING a strip tease for my partner, i'd be the one recieving it...

Now, to describe that same feeling, when i'm with a guy, (as I currently am and have been for the past 6 years), I AM the one giving a striptease. I usually AM the girly girl, but for some reason when i'm with a girl, all that goes out the window, and i'm the one wearing Timberland boots and white T's...

During sex with a guy, I DO want HIM to take charge, and BE the guy in the relationship-I WANT HIM to be dominant. During sex with a girl, I am the dominant one, I usually don't feel comfortable with penetration, etc, except for a few exceptions, and I am usually the one who would wear the strap on (LOL) and do everything to HER. And I like that, most of the time.

Don't get me wrong, I like that my mannerisms are so fluid, but sometimes it gets a bit confusing, and overwhelming...it also doesn't help that I haven't had any romantic attention from a female in so long that I feel like I have an erection that won't go away-except for it's my entire body...

I am not sure what to do for an intro. I am more than happy to give history and background but I first wanted to mention something. I am just engaged so I hope that is ok but I have questions, several, that relate to marriage and that's where I need my advice and support! I have been with my fh for 5 years so I might as well be married :0)

Let me know if there is a certain intro post I should make and if it's still ok for me to be here! Hope I can stay! :0)

Hello world um here in Texas. Still maddly in love with ny husband doing really good haven't really thought about women so much. I mean I still look I'm only human. But the great need to do anything more than that hasn't  really come up. I don't know what it is just really havent felt that urge.
New news my sister told my mom that she was bi curious, no shock to me. For some reason my mom didn't react the same way. But here is the big part.....
My mom confided in my sister that she HAS BEEN WITH A WOMAN!!!!
All this shame I have been feeling, AND she is just a fucking hypocrite. uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh I was soooooooo pissed. More at my self for letting her jugmentalness stop me from persuing my own happiness in that venue. And for not just telling her to shove it. But no I had to feel all guilty and shit and since I knew my mother would never approve I made sure I didn't get close to anyone cause I knew I could never bring them home.

But if I would have never been like that I would have never met my husband. and that I am very grateful for so I'm not so angry any more.

Hi ok here we go. First off my family doesn't know that im bi. I told my mom when I was younger ,and she started to cry and act like I have just killed someone. I was told I couldnt have either sex of friends over because it wouldnt be right and I guess she thought I was a whore and I was going to sleep with everyone and that I was confused. So I renounced to my mom that I was Biand told her I was strait and just going through a faze. I ended up appoligizing to her for my crazyness. But that was long ago and we have never talked about it again. As if the idea of talking about it would be a great injustice and would shame her being. But I dont live with her and now I am happily married to a man.

Ok and my second thing that is going on now is I'm married to this unimaginable loving man who knows that I'm Bi and is okay with it so ok he would be extatic if I persued it further. I hate that he does that because I supress all those feelings for women , well not all of them I just try not to act on it because I consider it to be unfaithfull. But I always wonder if I can have my cake and eat it to. But only because he says it is ok. Being married is different than dating. I made the most solemn vow that he would be my one and only. But he says that cheating is only if it was with a guy.

I'm Bi and to me all sexes are the same. I am attracted to humans and that is how i see it. And to have sex with another human besides my husband is wrong in my head. I'm sorry if someonelse doesnt agree with me and all I have to say about that is to each their own. I understand and you have different ideas than me and thats fine I only judge myself not others. But now that my husband says its okay the desire to be with a woman is unbearable. I don't know it's not like i have anyone in mind. And he is the only one who finds me desirable. I just want to know if any one feels the same way? Like is anyoneelse going through the same thing?

ps I HATE THIS! I just want to be with him, but i want to be with her ,whomever She is....

Even though I created this community, I don't really belong here anymore because I'm no longer married. Since there isn't much action around here these days was thinking of deleting the community, but I just don't have the heart do do so. I'd prefer to hand it over to someone else, maybe someone who's willing to promote it as I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would like this community if only they knew of its existence. If anyone out there still cares and is interested let me know.
