Last Weekend...

I was going to title this post "Corn Fest", but to tell the truth that wasn't all our weekend was about. My avid hunter aka Trev needed to go up to Enterprise to spend some time in the mountains "hunting". So we all went up friday night! Koleman was excited as ever to be at his Papa and Bama's! As you can tell by these pics, this is his face every time we turn off the oil road and head up the hill! He is screaming with excitement!

That night Koleman got spoiled with some gator rides and being pushed around in the Tractor by Bama!

Saturday we did go to the cornfest! It was fun as usual, but SO hot! We shopped around at the booths, I got a freaking CUTE purse and earrings, then we ate some delish food! That night they had a band "muddy boats" playing in the park. I knew Koleman would love it so my dad, Trev, Koleman and I all went. Koleman and I did some dancing Koleman did a lot me, just the boot scootin' boogie! haha I held K man the whole time and my back is still sore from it! haha

We stayed the night, but since my parents have 9 o clock church we woke up, ate breakfast and headed home for our church! Fun weekend!

(My mom discovered if we sit Koleman up to the bar like a big boy he eats ALOT better, and he thinks he is pretty cool)

County Fair

Nothing like a good ole, country, COUNTY FAIR to make you feel like you need to go home and shower ten times! Jk jk I actually really like the fair and it should only get more fun the older Koleman gets right?!!?

We visited some animals!

We didn't pay to go into the petting zoo we are cheap, lame, parents! 2 bucks A PERSON for Koleman to pet some animals that he sees every other weekend at his Papa and Gmas? I think we will just stick to the goat that was hangin' outside the petting zoo!

You would've thought K had died and gone to heaven when he seen all of these tractors lined up! Clearly they were just waiting for him to play on! 

We did in fact let him go on a "real" ride! I thought he was going to be scared, but he surprised me and LOVED it!

We finished our big day with our own little foot races down the hallway! Koleman would back up and when he got to the edge of the tile he would yell "set, go" and off he'd run! Trev is such a good sport and gave us some good entertainment racing him up and down the hallway! 



Precious Moments...

I've been trying really hard to put Koleman in time out when he throws his food. The time out spot is underneath the desk in the kitchen! He usually HATES it and gets quite mad at me! Well the other night we were eating dinner and K started throwing his food, so I said Koleman stop it or your going in time out! He laughed at me ate a couple of more bites and said "ah done" so I got him out of his high chair. With the biggest cheese on his face he backed underneath the desk and sat there! I pulled him out from underneath the desk and said "O Koleman", and he looked at me with another cheese and said "o tomen" haha

I was sitting at the table doing something and Koleman yells "SHEL" so I turn around and there he is looking over the counter at me! haha Someone learned how to unlock the dishwasher and thinks he is pretty cool because of it!

That same morning Koleman learned how to climb onto the table! O the Joys!

Trev and Koleman were in the living room playing while I was doing the dishes. They were really quiet, and that NEVER happens. Trev starts yelling at me to hurry and come in there they have a surprise. haha Good thing they pulled out every toy K man owns and lined the living room with them!

The things that keeps these two entertained! :)

 Koleman can make him self comfortable pretty much anywhere! He was sitting on the back of a chair in church and had his head resting on the seat, it was hilarious but of course I didn't have my camera. I did have my camera when he decided to pop a squat in the fridge though!

 

When Koleman gets lucky I feed him cinnamon toast for breakfast! He always finishes the entire piece of toast, but I was a little shocked when he decided he needed to slick up the plate with his tongue!

and my TOP precious moment for this week.....

Trev takes Koleman to Elders Quorum with him so I can sit in YW in peace and I'm sure the girls would be very distracted if he was in there! Anyway yesterday Trev peeked in the door and so I went out to see what was wrong (Koleman had a messy diaper and I had the diaper bag) as soon as Koleman saw me he said

 "Shel, shush shu" (Shel, Love you)!

 It made my whole entire life!! I was SOO mad at him for the little fit he threw in sacrament meeting but he sure knew how to make up for it! :) I just love him!

Lots of Cousin Time!

Cedi and Charli came to visit for 3 1/2 weeks, Kali came with them but that's just a minor detail! We had SOO much fun hangin with these guys and were very sad when they had to go home! Randy and Lauraine (Daves Kiddos) are also here from LA so we have been spending some time with them and Jade and his family came for the 24th so we got to hang out with them!! Needless to say we have been busy busy the past month but have had lots of fun!

This post will be short on words, but def has some pics to make up for it!

My Dad came down to pick us up in his Truck since that is the only vehicle that they have that would hold all of us! We were a little bit tight, but we fit and we made it to Enterprise safely! :)

When we got home from camping we let the kiddos run around the house in the rain! As you can see from the pic above they were a tiny bit dirty and they needed a good rinse before we let them in the bath tub!
