Jamison & Gum

Jamison got some bubble gum and decided to drape it across his chin from ear to ear. Well the gum did not want to come off his cheeks and hair therefore, his hair was shaved with much screaming and his poor face scrubbed with much pain and agony from all parties. The poor kid kept screaming of how he wanted his hair back. I have NEVER seen gum stick to skin so badly. I hope Jamison will recover from this experience.

CATCH UP!!!!

As you can see...I am way behind. Summer came and went. School started and then life continued a bit faster than I could grasp. Wow!
At the end of August I didn't send Noah off to first grade or Reed off to Kindergarten. I am starting another year of homeschooling with my boys. This is something that I feel I need and want to be doing. It is definitely a journey and a learning process for all of us. Pray for me and my boys:)

September:

Labor Day weekend we headed to Bear Lake for Steve's Mecham family reunion.
Friday- We got to Bear Lake and had dinner with a lot of people who I know I should know. The boys played at the park.
Saturday- We ate breakfast, went to the beach. The water was so high we had to travel 15 miles to North beach in order to play in the sand. The boys loved it. Then we went back and Steve dressed as Estaban our Hispanic DJ for the program. They played minute to win it. Fun!
Sunday- We drove home. Hurried and changed our clothes, went to sacrament mtg. went home repacked our car and headed for Las Vegas. TALK ABOUT A LONG DAY! We saw Steve's sisters who live in Las Vegas when we got there and then we headed for our condo.

CALIFORNIA

Monday-We woke up and went swimming then we headed to Carlsbad, CALIFORNIA- That was a long drive. We got stuck in traffic. YUCK! seriously, a 4.5 hr drive took us 7 hrs. Blah!
Tuesday- We went to the beach all day. Boys found a decomposing shark on the beach. Got to love that esp. after watching Soul surfer.
Wednesday- Beach all day
Thursday- Legoland-There was a huge power outage 1 hour before the park closed & they gave everyone a free pass. It was quite the reality check on preparedness. It was supposed to be out until Saturday. Thankfully they got it back on by the morning.
Friday & Saturday- We drove to Anaheim and went to Disneyland. The kids were great. Reed wasn't a huge fan of the tower of terror. his face was priceless.
Sunday- We headed home. We got a flat tire which added a couple hours to our drive, but we got a new tire and made it home safely.
