Baby Boy Sharkey has a name!

Well, we've finally decided on a name for our little man - Landon Lee Sharkey!! Landon because we love it and think its TOO cute, and Lee because it's my dad's middle name :) I couldn't be more excited - one less thing to do!! YAY!!

Preparing for Baby Sharkey

This past weekend was a very busy one for Tim and I. Amoungst trying to find a new house, we also went to register at Babies R Us. To say it was overwhelming was an understatement, but we made the most of it. I can't believe how much expensive gear they require!

Snow Storm 2011

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week you know that Atlanta was hit by a "huge" snow storm last week. Huge meaning about 6 inches of snow. It literally crippled the city for at least 3 days if not 4. It came in on Sunday night, FAST, then rained the next day and turned into ice. Bella was so confused when we took her out Monday morning, it was hilarous!

Bye Bye Burdock Trace!

Well, it's official. We sold our house yesterday. By 3PM all the paperwork was signed and we said goodbye to our first home. It was a great little house for 4 years, but we're ready for something new (i.e. bigger). Where are we moving to you ask? Oh that is a GREAT question! For now, we are proud residents of my sister's old bedroom at my parents house! It's a long story, in short, we had the house on the market for about two weeks when we decided that it probably wasn't the best market to sell. So we reconsidered and took it off the market. About a week larger an agent contacted us with a potential buyer. After some negotiations, we sold for our ASKING PRICE and were out two weeks later. It all happened a) quickly and b) over the holidays.
Needless to say we are very excited and not a bit stressed that our little man will here in T-minus 4 1/2 months!

With that said, here is an ode to our first home: what is was when we first moved in and how we turned it into our humble abode!

Snow and more snow! Christmas 2010

For the first time in over 100 years, Georgia had a WHITE Christmas! It was awesome! it didn't stop snowing all day!
