Friends become our chosen family...

There is nothing like moments I get to spend with my "inner circle".  Although its only annually that we all get together, it's something I look forward to every year.  Our little high school group of 4 girls has grown quite a bit over the past few years...and we have yet to add a single female!

My sweet best friends since 7th grade.  I love these girls!

Our boys...with our little boys :)

Our growing group! One of these days I'll show this annual picture through the years.

Santa

Waiting in line for our appointment with Santa!  Yes, I said appointment - this Santa is by appointment only (that you make in AUGUST!!!)

Not afraid of Santa - YAY!

The only thing on Landon's wish list was a healthy baby brother.  So he and Santa had a chat on how to be a big brother.  Too sweet :)

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!  It started with our 5th Annual 5K run at the Gobble Jog, then a huge dinner at my parents with the entire family.  Kim and Larry came to join the fun too!

Fun with Grammie and "Ampa"

Pushing the truck in the driveway is always a fun Monday activity!

Going for a walk with Grammie in the yard.

Grandpa is so funny!

Helping Grandpa fix Mommy and Daddy's shower.

Touch a truck

We went to a fundraiser for Mabry Park the other weekend.  They had a firetruck as part of the "Touch a Truck" program.  Landon LOVES anything with big wheels :) He kept pointing and screaming "YEAH!"

Zoo Atlanta

Tim and I took Landon to Zoo Atlanta over the weekend.  We figured it was a perfect time, since he's learning about all the different types of animals at school, and will even tell you what a lion, cow, and doggie say (I need to get it on video!).   We took him on the little train ride that goes around the kid zone, he wasn't sure what to make of it (much like the pumpkin patch hayride).  It was a fun morning with our sweet love bug!

Looking at the giraffes

Making sure we saw the tiger - "Bella!"  Soon he will learn that not all things with fur are named Bella, but for now its too cute!

Very interested in our new friend.

28 weeks

28 weeks down, 12 to go!  Still no official name for baby boy #2, but we're getting close.  I did this once during my pregnancy with Landon, and meant to continue it to help keep track between pregnancies.  Oh well, better late than never :)

How far along: 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Just like with Landon, I don't know the exact number, and I am just fine with being in the dark :)
Maternity clothes: All maternity clothes at this point, and have been since about 15ish weeks.  My favorite thing to wear is leggings and a tunic.
Gender: Male
Movement: I feel him the most after I eat, especially if it contains sugar.
Sleep: Doing pretty good, as long as I can fall back asleep after I get up to pee 3 times a night!
Symptoms: knock on wood, I haven't had any morning sickness in about 6 weeks (yes, SIX weeks, I had a rough week pretty late in my pregnancy).
Cravings: cereal, cereal, and more cereal!
What I miss: sleeping on my stomach, having Landon sit on my lap comfortably, and the occasional glass of wine :)
What I'm looking forward to: Watching Landon become a big brother and having a snuggle bug again!  And yes, sushi and wine!
