Yay for a weekend away!

So president's day weekend is the last day we get off for the rest of the semester. So, me and Jason decided to start our weekend last Wednesday. We had to start the weekend Wednesday because I got Jason Laker Jazz tickets for V-day (come on, say it I'm the best wife ever). We had an awesome time and forgot the camera. We cheered our hearts out for the Lakers all night long though the night ended in defeat. We think our boys were just tired. Also, can I just say I love game food. Its way overpriced but since it was Jason's V-day present, we went all out and ate at the arena and it was wonderful. Dip n' dots was one of our game time treats.

Thursday we left for Vegas. After a long 6 1/2 hour drive (they closed part of the highway because a oil tanker flipped so we had to take a detour) we arrived at my V-day present: one night stay at the Planet Hollywood hotel on the strip. The room was beautiful, the view gorgeous, the bed comfortable, the bathtub huge! All in all a great present. Thank you and love you Jason! The rest of the weekend was full of relaxing, visiting with family and friends, eating amazing food, and browsing potenial neighborhoods for our first home buying experience that will hopefully happen in the not too distant future! Thank you Dodson family for a great weekend!
