L-O-V-E, LOVE her!!!

Okay so if you know anything about me and my tastes in music you know that I love Celine Dion. She has one of the most amazing voices. Well I have had the opportunity to see her in Las Vegas, thanks to my awesome sister Erica, but just last Tuesday I got to see her perform at the Pepsi Center in Denver. A company that Logan works with gave us the tickets and I am so thankful that they did. It was AWESOME!! I really can't say anything more. She is beautiful, sings amazing and keeps me entertained. I had such a good time!!

This picture is of my little Reid. I used to put him on the counter with me when I was getting ready to go for the day and this day I decided to put him in the sink to see what he would do. He loved it! I thought it was so cute so I took a picture to capture it. I think he was like 9 months or so. :)

A late Valentines Day post

Okay so I didn't want to post with out a picture, and then my wonderful friend Melanie sent me the picture she took of Logan and I at the dance. (Ignore the swollen belly from surgery) So we had a great Valentines Day. We went to dinner with some friends. Which was so fun. We have got really great friends. Then off to the dance we went. It was a total blast. I love dances. Man it brought back a lot of memories at stake dances. I don't know if it was because it was in the same building or if it was because they played the same music from when I was a youth. Either way I had some moves and I rocked that dance party. Or at least I think I did!! I was a little worried that I would rip open my scar, but luckily my spanx kept it in tact and I could dance the night away. 

It was really fun to go to a dance with Logan. All growing up he never went to any of the dances I went to so it was fun to go to one with him and know that he was  all mine. Plus I had the cutest boy on the dance floor!! But on a serious note, I have really been blessed having Logan in my life. He is the most wonderful person I know. He is so strong and steadfast. Loving and forgiving. Honest and patient. I couldn't have married a better person. I love him with all of my heart. Thank you babe for putting up with me. I know I have had some hard times, but you stood by my side with out ever leaving me alone. I love you!!! 

WE ARE APPROVED!!!

Our case worker pulled some strings and got us approved today!!! (We still needed a signature, but he was able to get us up and going with out it!) Thanks Dan!!

Need I Say More??

I AM HONORED TO BE HIS GRAND DAUGHTER

My Grandpa's funeral was on Tuesday this week and it was beautiful. Not something you normally say about a funeral service. Not only was it beautiful but it was very moving. The service at church was so good. It was so fun to hear the memories of my Grandpa. It was fun to see that he was the same with me that he was with my siblings and cousins. I think that is a trait that many of us wish to have. At least I do. My Dad gave this amazing talk about the plan of happiness. When doesn't he give good talks?? But it was so moving and made me so happy, go figure, that some day I will see my loved ones again and live with them forever. Now this is the part of the funeral that moved me the most. We went over to Fort Logan Cemetery and this is what we saw as we got out of our cars. 

I have always felt so blessed to have been born in The United States of America. The

feelings I get just thinking about this country and what it stands for brings me to tears. I don't know what I did in the pre-existence to deserve to be here, but I am grateful everyday that I live here. 

We are of Scottish decent (makes sense doesn't it?) so my mom and sisters arranged to have a man there playing his bag pipe. It was very moving to hear that as my

 brothers and cousins moved my Grandpa's casket out of the hurst. Then we went to the covered patio and they did this whole presentation about our country and what my Grandpa did for it in WWII. Then they did the 21 gun salute (which Reid and his cousin Gavin said "That was so cool!") and then they folded the flag. They presented it to my mom, shook her hand and my aunts hands and they took

down the colors and left.The man played the bag pipe again as they folded the flag and left. It was just so moving. I am honored to be the grand daughter of Junior "Tobe" McClellan. What he did for our country in WWII was so brave and he did it wanting nothing in return but freedom and liberty. I loved listening to his stories. That was my favorite thing to do was to sit with him and ask him one question to which I would be there for hours listening to his war stories. They were many and I never tired of hearing them. He flew on a B-17 and was the radio controller. What a blessing it is to call him my Grandpa. Love you Gramps!! 

DISNEY LIVE

I was talking to my friendHeather last night and she told me that she and her family were going to go to Disney Live. She then told me that Handy Manny,Little Einstein, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and My Friends Tiger and Pooh were going to be there. Okay, well this little man of mine LOVES these shows. He watches them at least three times a week and is glued to the TV the whole time. (Which is why he only watches them three times a week!!!) So anywho, I hustle home to see if I can still get tickets. Of course I can, I paid WAY too much for them, but we got tickets and off we went. Well actually after a disaster in the car with a pop we were off... Now I think the pictures say it all!! :0)    

Life With out Grandpa

My mom called me this morning about 8:00 am to inform me that my Grandpa Tobe has passed away. It was a bittersweet moment for me. He has had some health problems now for about three years that had been really hard for him. With my Grandma passing in November he was really ready to be done with this life. He had a great life though. I loved sitting with him while he told stories of his past. He was in WWII on a B-17 and never tired of answering my bagillion question I asked. His stories were so fun to listen to. He was such a fun person to be around. I remember when he used to come into Dad's office and he brought such an ambiance with him. I love it when he and Grandma would come in. I have many memories of him and love him dearly. He will be missed but I know he is with Grandma now doing the work they need to!
