CY was performing. He was not in good mood for last few weeks. Fortunately, as usual, he behaved when he was on stage. It was an outdoor stage that the environment was pretty hot. CY's violin needed tuning from time to time due the temperature caused the string to be expanded.
Daddy was carrying little CM most of the time and sometimes, he was running about at the compound. We had a good time, so did the kids.

31 Dec 2010 : PH vs PH replacement

Today was announced of Malaysian Public Holidays due to the victory of Malaysian Football Team in SEA. However, PL's company did not observe this but compensate as replacement. The reason given was business continuity. The plant shutdown was just completed that it was difficult to allow the start up to be halted.

CC was at home with little CY & CM. Little CM stay back was planned since his nanny would be away, but CY enjoyed the Malaysian Joy.

Everything went well. The boys even had their nap. They met up PL for lunch near to econ save senai. It was pretty hot and we had economic rice. CY did not like his porridge which was served cold.

After dropping off PL, CC turned back after 5 minutes due to PL dropped her car key at the seat. They then headed to Permas, thinking to meet up Auntie Mama. But she was in Holiday Plaza. They ended up shopping in Jusco. Both boys dozed off on their way back.

When PL was at the door step, she was greeting by CY's grin. And, the little CM was crawling, exploring the house as usual.

CC invited his friends for a steamboat feast. PL only invited Rina to join the fun. It has been long time since PL cook for a table of 10. A good start to have a steamboat feast since the preparation was only soup and cutting those dishes. As usual, PL cooked the tom yam, her specialty. Another type of soup was simple with vegetables and pork ribs.

After finishing 95% of the food (ya.. we found difficulty to fill our stomach with those balanced vegetable / mushroom/ soup and dessert), some were fascinated with the lantern fun.

Vivo city became PL's favourite shopping mall due to Daiso & Toy "r" us... Along the way, we spotted Eye on Singapore.
After having a hearty Thai food with family / relatives, PL suggested to drive along Orchard Road to catch the light-up for Christmas. It was indeed a scenic drive with all the pretty light in blue, orange and red.

We went to the AH Muhibbah Night for a while and headed back before the dance performance started. We lighted up the paper lantern for little CY. If only more people are around, it would be more fun.
