23 Feb 2009 : Happy Birthday to PL
Today, PL received many birthday wishes via sms, facebook & emails.

22 Feb 2009 : Birthday & Nanyang
We finally had a cake cutting session for PL. We planned to have the birthday cake cut last night but CY fell asleep over the dinner. 
Little CY treated it like his birthday, or rather he was eyeing on the cake. He loves cakes.
At noon, we went to the newly (opened before CNY actually) opened kopitiam, Nanyang for lunch. We were browsing through the menu. Suddenly, little CY announced, " I want to eat Sushi !", pointing at the menu. That sushi was not a geinuine sushi but with sausage wrapped bread covered with seaweed. He ended up eating only the sausage and some rice & eggs of the nasi lemak set.
Dad called but we finished off the lunch. Guessed he rushed back from the farm.

21 Feb 2009 : A visit to Adda Heights
We was thinking to drop by at YanZhi's new house after dinner. To our surprise, there was no response when we pressed on the door bell. Thus, CC drove around to take a look at the new neighborhood.
Ah Ha ! We found YanZhi & her family were in the playground !
We visited their new house when the day was darken. The kids were enjoying themselves that we spent some time persuading them to leave the playground.

Chap Goh Meh or Tzap Goh Mei (pinyin: shí wǔ wěi; literally "fifteen night") represents the fifteenth and final day of the Lunar New Year period as celebrated by Chinese migrant communities. The term is from the Hokkien dialect and refers to the fifteenth dayof the first month, which is the occasion of the first full moon of the New Year.
The occasion is marked by feasting and various festivities, including the consumption of tangyuan. In traditional Chinese culture, it is also celebrated as the Lantern festival or the Shang Yuan festival. In Southeast Asia, however, it coincides with the Chinese Valentine's Day. It is also when young unmarried women gather to toss tangerines into the sea, in a hope that their future spouse will pick it up – a custom that originated in Penang, Malaysia. In the past, this was also the only day that unmarried ladies could be seen with their partners.

07 Feb 2009 : Slyn's visit
It has been quite some time we did not meet up. We were busy with the new house, family events and work.
It was a great weekend with slyn, slyn's hubby & their 2 kids coming over. Huei was getting prettier while the little Shane was growing fast. He reminded us on CY when he was at his age, crawling & climbing non-stop.
We had a great chat, disturbed by the kids from time to time, though.
