It's a BOY!!!!!

Yes you heard right, the Sheppards are going to have another BOY in the house! I was supposed to find out tomorrow, but two weeks ago I started bleeding so I called my Dr. and she had me come in for an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed that my placenta had a small tear in it. So I had to take it easy for a few days and not teach any classes and it would heal on it's own. Very glad the baby is healthy and fine. So when they were doing the ultrasound I asked if it was too early to tell what the sex was and she said let's take a peek. You could right away see that it was not flat like my little girls!! I was thinking it was another girl all along, but we got another surprise! A little BOY!

We are busy thinking of boy names and I am busy already buying little boy clothes! This is so new to me!! J.D. thought is was a girl too, but he was pleasantly surprised. Well this is me at 16 weeks. I thought Victoria's pregnancy went by fast, but this one is really flying by. I am just starting to feel some little movements and flutters, which it so fun! We are very excited to welcome a little BOY to the family!

14 weeks

So here I go again with my pregnancy pictures! This pregnancy came as a complete shock and surprise to say the least! I got all my certifications completed and finished in June and have been teaching cycling, kickboxing, boot camps, and weight lifting classes at Golds gym. Well I can get really busy teaching and so in September my period was late and I thought I was just working out too much and it was throwing my cycle off. I had my sister buy me a pregnancy test from the dollar store just in case. I took the test and it was POSITIVE!!!! Like I said I was shocked. J.D. and I knew we wanted a 3rd child, but just not for another 2 years! The Lord had different plans for us. It was very overwhelming and hard to swallow at first. J.D. gave me a blessing that night and in that blessing it said " There is a special spirit that needs to be here at this exact time". I could not argue with that. I was reminded that this is not MY child, this is Heavenly Father's sweet child and he will send them when HE is ready. My anxiety has turned into excitement. I know that it will be hard having Victoria and this one only 21 months apart, but I know it's meant to be.

So I am 14 weeks, but this was me at 13 weeks. This pregnancy has been very easy and I feel very fortunate for that. Victoria and Lachlynn take naps at the same time, so I can even grab some shut eye on the days I really need it. Like I said I teach work out classes at Golds gym, sometimes twice a day. I have still been able to teach all my same classes and feel great! The Lord has truly blessed me. I have sister-in laws who are not able to have children and would give anything to be able to do so. It makes me realize what a huge miracle it is to carry a child. We are all very excited and Lachlynn already tells me that she can't wait to hold the new baby. We got to hear the heart beat the other day and it was very reassuring because I never really feel pregnant! We get to find out what we are having in TWO WEEKS!!!! I can't wait. Lachlynn thinks it's another little sister, but I have no clue! We will keep you posted!

I could not be more happy with these pictures! My cousin Erin has her own photography company and she is SO talented. I got them developed, bought frames, and hung them on my walls all in one day! I love all of them, but I just picked a few to share.

Sisters

I love having two little girls, they genuinely love each other so much. I wake up to the sound of these two laughing and playing. I absolutely love it! I am very blessed! P.s. there are a lot of posts below....

Happy 5 years!

Can't believe it's been 5 years. It still feels like yesterday that I was sending J.D. off on his mission. Well in 5 short years we have moved 6 times, been through 5 cars, lived in 2 states, have had 2 beautiful girls, and have had many many good times. I know there is so much more to come in the next 5 years. I love J.D. So for our anniversary J.D. surprised me and took me to the cheesecake factory and then to the grand America. It was so much fun to just hang out with each other. Life gets complicated some times raising a family so it's so important to take time to be together.

Her theme was hot pink and orange, everything was hot pink and orange. I had so much fun planning her party. We had our families there to help celebrate with us. It was so much fun! Here's the cake and cupcakes I made, she for sure has a sweet tooth like her mama.

I just can't believe my sweet baby is 1! This last year with her in our family has been so much fun. Lachlan loves having a little sister and we love our Victoria! I took her to her 12 month appt. And she is only 17 lb. She is just so tiny, still wears 6 months clothing.

Dance

My little girl started dance! She has been so excited! She has watched her friends and cousins dance and has been asking me when she can start. Looks who's dancing now! The picture of her sitting on the bench I love because the little girl beside her is my best friends little girl. Who would of thought we would both have little girls and both in the same dance class?  So fun. She was so excited the whole week.  I picked her up after class and she was telling me all about the things she learned. I can't believe she is old enough to go to dance. I love this little girl.

One of Lachlynn's favorite things lately is taking pictures. A lot of times I find her in her room taking pictures of her toys. The other day her and Victoria were in Lachlynn's room playing and I went to check on them and Lachlynn was taking pictures of Victoria. They were actually really good! So the other night Lachlynn wanted to take pictures of me so we had a little photo shoot. She is so fun to be with, I love her so much.

HAPPY 4TH

Happy fourth of July! We had our annual fourth of july pary at our house and had a blast. These girls are really growing up.

I saw these bows on line and I had to try them with red, white, and blue! I thought they turned out so cute!

Spartan race

J.D. and our brother in law Garth ran the Sartan race. This race is something else. You have to run 13 miles and do 25 obsticles. It was insane to watch. I will most definitely be running it next year! It looked way hard, but way fun.

Taylorsville days

We LOVE taylorsville days!! We have gone the last 4 years, it has become a fun family tradition. This year was so much fun with Lachlynn. We did everything.... Pony rides,face painting,ice cream,chocolate covered strawberries, EVERY ride, and of course the fire works! The fire works are the best part. They have the biggest and best fire works around. If you have never gone to Taylorsville days, GO!!!! I promise you will love it.

9 months!

This little girl is 9 months old! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!! The time has really flown by. Victoria is such a sweet little girl, we just love having her in our family. -She has turned into a great little sleeper -she is finally eating baby food -she crawls EVERYWHERE and fast too! -she loves Lachlynn -she has no teeth -she says "Da da" on demand -she still can fit into some of her 0-3mo clothes -she is so fun to be around I took her to her 9 month appointment and she is now in the 3% for weight, she is 15lb. and 28 inches long. The Dr has encouraged me to work in some more feeding, which we are working on. She is such a little sweet heart, we love our Victoria.
