Luke winter photoshoot
This afternoon I decided to put on my Luke cosplay again just for kicks. I took a few pictures of myself in my room and then moved outside to the snow and made my sister take pictures. XD

Let me tell you...Luke's clothes and snow...BAD COMBINATION! Especially if you lie down on your stomach. I almost screamed. @_@ It was worth it, though!!

I hope some of y'all are planning on coming to AnimeFest in Dallas, TX this coming Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4-7), because I've secured an official "Tales of" Series photoshoot. :D

Tear and Klarth cosplay help?
Hi guys!
Cosplay noob here needs some help with fabrics (or anything else really, lol). My boyfriend and I have been discussing cosplaying as Tear and Klarth, but neither of us have cosplayed before. We want to start looking at fabrics and other things soon so I thought I'd ask for any suggestions. Are there any fabrics I should or shouldn't use? Or are there any other cosplay tips (whether related to Tear and Klarth or not) that would be useful to know? Thanks in advance!

Otakon was this weekend and I wanted to thank all of you for coming out to the Tales of Panel. It means a lot to us and we're so happy you made it. Because we get maxed out every year and we've told them to give us a bigger room, I apologize if you were on line for the panel and did not get in. Unfortunately, this year, my boyfriend didn't record the panel like he did last year. He was sitting in a bad spot. =|

But once again, thank you thank you thank you! We hope to bring another edition to Otakon next year as well.

And if you haven't made the connection just yet, I was Arietta on the panel.

Help/Suggestions on Jay [ToL] Cosplay, please.
It's my first time posting here, I'm a bit nervous. > >
I'm going to be cosplaying as Jay the Unseen from Tales of Legendia at the 2010 Sakuracon anime convention in Seattle and I was thinking about starting the costume as soon as I can.
I've tried his hair/side ponytail thing with my hair at its current length and it's pretty do-able although it tends to get messy kind of easily.  I suppose when it gets to April, my hair will be longer and it'll be easy to do.  
You might have to scroll down, past my complaints about my cousins girlfriend (Haaa) and see.

Things I plan to get for this cosplay:
-Purple circle lenses 
-Black tights
-White shoes, and I'll do something to them to make them look like Jay shoes.
-Costume fabrics
-Beads 
-Maybe felt.

That's all I know so far.  The thing is, I have no idea what to do for that golden/yellowy thing with bells around his neck.  
Here's a reference. 
Any ideas on how to make...whatever that thing is so it doesn't look retarded and crappy? :/  Also, any tips on how to make his dagger/knife look as not trashy as possible?  Any other suggestions and comments are fine.

Hiya. At Anime Boston 2009 we had a Tales series photoshoot. A very epic one.
