looking for some swimming holes.  

i'd like no sucking whirlpools that will drag me under or drown me, and no motors would be an even bigger plus.  some available shade, and not a bunch of fucking teenagers.

i'm willing to drive 1.5 hours.  i tried to search dp's memories, but it came up empty (despite the fact that i know it was brought up a lot).
