We had a rad week, after a frightening moment when we thought we left our keys back in Oshawa we learned that (to our delight) we only left them at the church. I've got to start tying them to my sleeve or something because those things try to escape all the time.
After that fiasco we had a sports night at the chapel. We had invited a couple people out and posted it on the branch facebook page, which, we were happy to see. A family came out that we'd never seen before. We had a blast....
That was fun, also if you want to know we played volleyball... It'll raise a question if you look hard enough.
We've also been told (as this is week six) that there are a ton of changes coming to the zone. After last transfer, getting phones and facebook, and learning a new area I feel like my mind is continually trying to solve an immense equation on the chalkboard, and the impending eraser of doom is hanging threateningly over it.
But we'll see, I haven't been in Lindsay for long so the chances are I'll stay and the eraser won't descend upon me.
This week is looking just as fun as the last, my prayer is the keys will remain on my person at all times. It reminds me of the video that Elder Stevenson put on a while back. About him and the car keys, everything works fine, but the authority to use it needs to be held.

Missionary Letter #78
I promise all my intentions were noble this last week, I had intended to tell everyone that we were getting facebook this week in order to avoid the shock of thinking that I'd come home early or something, but alas. I don't think I freaked out anyone to bad.
......
Moving on, this week we had the opportunity to teach our sick investigator Cayden. Who we just finished an amazing lesson with yesterday evening. It was super powerful, and interesting to see. When we first met Cayden he swore like a sailor. The second time he let it slip a few times but overall didn't swear much. And finally now he didn't swear once, that was something that indicated to us how he's willing to change.
Because habits are hard to break.
Besides that we're doing good, life is good, we've learned that our apartment probably isn't haunted, but instead just a super old building. (Let's be honest though, if it's been there for a hundred years someone probably has died in it.)
I'll be posting on facebook more frequently, but facebook is meant to be a proselyting tool. My companion and I are brainstorming ideas that we can use to spread the gospel and invite others to the fullest potential while still going out and talking to people.
Also, contacting people and asking them to friend you on facebook makes life so much easier. It's so easy to ask if we can friend or follow them online and then keep in contact that way. I'm sold on it.

Missionary Letter #77
We did it all!
I mostly joke by the title of my email, but it feels like we did it all this week. Every possible missionary activity we could do we did. From meetings to exchanges, knocking and street contacting and running around as quickly as we could trying to balance out a thousand little details to make the next week run smoothly. It`s been quite the race, reminds me of serving in Toronto when you always had something to do. It didn`t matter what it was, everything you did was effective if you made it.
Like for example at the end of the week we had an appointment with members, trying to help them reactivate and come back to church. They had a friend there and as we talked with them we both felt the need to ask `Hey, would you like to learn more about the message we share?`he did. Which was a fitting ending for a chaotic week. Finding someone that was interested in learning about the gospel.
