off to London today.

will take the lumix, and one of this pda-thingies that come with satellite navigation for pedestrians. (will be interesting to see where i end up). the thingie also has some kind of mail-connection, and so i might try the one and other blog-per-mail post straight from the road (might arrive with messed-up layout, though).

one of the first photos i took with the new camera. it's a lumix. and it loves colours. and light. at least that's how it feels so far.

i worked through the short version of the manual yesterday, and also did some macro-shots - here is the one that left me stunned (even more so as the fly patiently waited for me to get the settings right before i took the photo): details of the everyday.

i have a new digi-camera - it arrived on wednesday. and now made me a bit melancholic about the old one, and all the pictures i took with it. here a photo-collage: this day, last year, and the year before, and further back in time.
