Happy Birthday our sweet little Boy

Oh how the last year has flown by. Kasen it has been the best year of your dad and I 's life. We love you so much and are so grateful we get to be your parents. Todd had to work on Kasen's birthday so we actually celebrated it on the 18. We just had family come over and we had a yummy dinner and opened gifts and had cake and ice cream.

Happy Valentine's Day

Flooding

It was crazy here in Malta for about a week and a half. The weather warmed up so fast and the ground was still frozen when all the snow melted and parts of Malta flooded. I wasn't able to go out and help fill sand bags or anything like that because I had just had surgery to have my gallbladder removed so I helped out at the school with all the food. I was in complete awe with the amount of love and support that was shown for our little town. We had so many people show up to help and so many donate food and water. Several times I was brought to tears with the amount of love that was pouring into our community.

All the pictures above were right by my house luckily it never got real close to our house. 

This is one of my best friends Jami Bingham's home.. Pretty scary, they were very lucky the water got as close as their garage but it never got into their home. 

First time playing in the Snow

We have had a lot of snow this year. But man it seemed like right after we got all the snow it got really cold so I didn't dare take Kasen out in it. Then one day it was absolutely beautiful outside so we suited up and went out and played in it. Kasen wasn't sure what to think about the white stuff:)

11 Months

How is this even possible?? 11 months today. It makes me so sad how fast he is growing. He has started to walk a little here and there. He has 8 teeth! Poor little guy has been teething pretty much non stop since August! He is so much fun to have around! He is the best little traveler!

Happy New year!! 2017

We had a great New Years Eve. My family all came over to my house and we played games and ate yummy food. Here is too a new year and hope it is even better than 2016!! Its going to take a lot to top 2016 lol...

I just love this little boy so much. I truly feel honored that I get to be his mommy and that Heavenly Father trusted me to raise this sweet little boy.

First Goose Egg

Kasen found out what happens when you try and head bang the wall. He cried for a few seconds and then got up and started playing again so I figured he was okay. Then like an hour later we sat down for dinner and discovered this "beauty".. His first goose egg

10 Months

What a better way to celebrate 10 months than on Christmas Eve!! Can't wait to celebrate your first Christmas Kasen. We love you so much.

The Christmas Season

This is my favorite time of year. We usually get to go to Las Vegas the beginning of December but we didn't get to go this year so we made a trip down to Ogden to see the lights there and we stopped by Willard Bay on the way home to see their lights. We also got to go over to Albion for the Annual live nativity its always the best way to start out Christmas.

Christmas was so much fun. Kasen really didnt show too much interest in opening the presents but he got spoiled  and he loves all his new toys. We spent Christmas Eve in Hailey with Todd's family and then Christmas in Malta/Almo with my family and my Mom's Family. I always feel like Christmas goes by way too fast I wish there was a way to slow it down a little.
