Holy cow, I love Studio 5, and I know I've said it before but I'll keep singing their praises as long as they keep showing me great stuff!

Today, it was Birchbox.

If you're like me, you like trying new things. Beauty products I mean. I love anything new that has to do with make-up, hair, skin, you name it! But sometimes it can be expensive and then not even worth your money.

Enter, Birchbox.

What you do is pay $10 a month (or pay for a whole year), and then you get 4 or 5 new beauty products to try every single month. The products are mini sized, but definitely a good size and worth it. So you get to try all these different products and find out if they're worth it. 

How awesome is that?!

What's even better is that this company is legit. They get the newest stuff from the best brands out there. On the segment today, Studio 5 producer, Mallory Moore, had something from NARS. That's a great brand! There are SO many good brands this company uses. She said she has been using Birchbox for a few months and has loved everything she's gotten. You also tell them things specifically about you so that the products sent to you can be USED by you. For example, if you have curly hair, they're not going to send you a volumizer to try on your already volumized hair.

It sounds good to me! They also suggested giving this as a gift to a lady friend or relative who also loves trying new beauty products. Legit!

Farms and Make-Up

(Thanksgiving Point Farm Country)

I came home from the field trip and literally passed out on the couch. Oh. My. Gosh. I was tired. It went well. We did get rained on for awhile, but luckily the sun came out for the last half hour. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves. Especially when they got to ride the ponies. I've never seen some of them so happy. Elated. On the bus, the kids screamed turning every corner and going over every bump. It was like a theme park ride to them. They loved it. Unfortunately we did have one throw up as we pulled into the school parking lot. Darn it.

I woke up to my husband's cute face on a piece of cake. I thought I was dreaming. But really, the people he works with had a cake made for him to celebrate his graduation. Cute huh? And yummy.

I got home from Young Women's earlier than usual and got to see some of my favorite shows that I've missed for the past couple of weeks. However, I couldn't thoroughly enjoy them. I wanted to go make a little trip to my latest obsession lately. ULTA. If you've never been to one (it's like Sephora) and you like make-up/every girly thing you can think of, then you'd like it. Or maybe even become obsessed with it like I have.

I resisted the urge though. I cuddled up with my hubby and we watched Cougar Town. Love it.

Saturday, Chels and I had our appointments with the Bobbi Brown consultants and make-up artists.

Sooooo fun and relaxing!

I love having people do my make-up. Wouldn't that be heaven? In my dreams!

My make-up artist was nice and professional. She had the same color of hair and eyes as me so she was able to give good suggestions for colors.

I almost loved the skin care more than I did the make-up.

Here were a few of my favorite things:

Then...

You better believe our next stop was the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never movie.

And oh yes, it was good.

It took me back to my 14 year old days of being completely and utterly obsessed with 'N Sync. Any one who knows me, knows how obsessed I once was. It made me totally relate to the screaming fans in the movie. I can honestly say, I K N O W how they feel!

The movie really was good. He is such a talented kid. I love all his catchy songs, my favorite being Never Say Never. Chels and I blasted listened to it a couple times on the way to meet our husbands and friends for dinner. If you haven't heard the version with Jaden Smith rapping in it, you need to, you would like it, or love it!

We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I got completely stuffed and James literally had to roll me outta the place. Such good food, and so fun to see friends we haven't seen in such a long time.

We ended the night at our house watching the first James Bond movie ever made, thanks to my husband. Dr. No was interesting to say the least. I was too uncomfortable from all the food I ate to really enjoy it. Hopefully that'll teach me my lesson to overeat as a pregnant woman.

Pink

~ I am making PINK pancakes for my students to enjoy (it's Pink Pancake & Pajama Day).

~ Grocery necessities have been bought for the weekend.

~ My whites are washed (also a necessity).

~ Sleepover at the in-laws.
