Seven Months Old

Hayden is sitting up like a pro. She is officially a "hip baby". She's starting to babble "ma ma ma". She is such a good natured baby. She gives big smiles. She is starting to reach her hands up for you to pick her up. She went to the doctor today because she's sick with her first Ear Infection. She weighed 16 lbs 14 ounces. Her sleep pattern could be better and her eating habits could improve. She wants nothing to do with bottles or baby food!

My Favorite Pictures from Thanksgiving

We had a great trip to Norman for Thanksgiving and enjoyed lots of family time. Maggie LOVES her cousins and really looks up to Abbee. I love watching them play together.

Today is Day 6 with NO PACI! I can't believe it. Maggie is hanging in there, it's been hard during nap time and bed time, but she's doing awesome. It's the one last thing keeping her from being a "baby" so it's kinda sad for me too, but I know it is well over time for her to give it up. The first night the Paci Fairy came and left her presents in exchange for her pacis. Last night she told me to "go find that Paci Fairy and tell her I don't want Dora and Diego anymore. I want my Paci's back!" I'm so proud of her for being such a big girl.

Six Months

Hayden was 6 Months on the 27th. We went to the Dr. for her Check-up today. She's 16lbs (48%), 27 1/2" Long (98%). She got 5 shots! Ouch! And she is currently battling her first Cold. She's beginning to sit-up, she is babbling much more and she loves to watch her Big Sister.

We've got our hands full with this one. She's a Pistol. I keep hoping that age 3 will be less challenging. Maggie has a mind of her own (which I love about her).

She's bossy and sassy. She's also sweet and compassionate.

Last week she got a big girl haircut. She was very proud and couldn't wait for her Daddy to get home so she could show him. Her favorite time of day is when he gets home. I love seeing the wonder in her and looking at the world through her opens up so many things I remember from being young. It is a blessing that God has trusted us to be her parents. Although sometimes I wish He hadn't put so much of me in her. No, she's perfect the way she is. I love her to pieces and I love the Joy she brings me everyday. We are super excited about the holidays this year - it truly is a special season when you have children to share it with.

Halloween, etc...

Hayden's First Halloween, Maggie's Third.

Nanny and Bobob were here and Maggie loved having Nanny ring doorbells with her. Maggie would whisper "trick or treat". Then when she got the candy, she'd jump up and yell: "MOM, I got more candy!" It's the little things.

We celebrated Bobob's Birthday while they were here!

Now that Hayden has become more social, Maggie has shown a lot more interest in her. It is so fun to watch them interact. Maggie likes to make her laugh and will get on the floor to roll around with her. It's such a blessing to see them growing together.

October has been Busy!

Grammy and Pappy came to visit the beginning of the month.

While they were here they both celebrated their birthdays - one day apart!

Pappy is not a good influence. :)

We went to Fayetteville for the Auburn/Arkansas game. Fayetteville was very pretty, we just wish Auburn could have pulled out a W.

The Girls and I headed back to Alabama with Grammy and Pappy for a visit. We got to see Lots of Friends and Family!

And we got to go to The loveliest village on the Plains for the Auburn/Kentucky game.

We got to go visit Grammy at School and meet all of her friends before she retires - IN 3 DAYS!

On our way back home we had a quick visit with friends in Decatur:

Abby and Maggie instantly hit it off as if we'd never left!

We loved seeing Paul and Joyce - our old neighbors.


And since we've been home we've been gearing up for halloween!
