We had a lot of fun this month. I learned a lot about fall and get to do a lot of fun things.

We went to 2 fall festivals. At the first one I got to play lots of games and get my face painted- with Thomas of course.

Viewing Party

A new Thomas movie came out in September. Earlier this month I hosted a viewing party for a few of my friends. We closed the curtains, threw all the pillows on the floor and popped some popcorn. We even had movie tickets!

Evan

I love my brother so much! This month he started smiling a lot more and tries to talk to me. He likes to lay on his playmat and watch me play most of the time.

This is his favorite position to lay! He can almost roll over sometimes!

Mom was making some things and Evan and I got to lay in the stuffing...

Schoolwork

This month I learned alot. My favorite thing is art/messy time. Here are my apple prints and when we were carving a "pumpkin". (The pumpkins here are not round- they are more oblong like a large squash.) Don't let my face fool you- I loved sticking my hand in that gooey stuff!

I have fallen behind in house work and felt a little overwhelmed. Then I read this and it really helped my perspective. Thought I would share:

That my house was neglected,

That I didn't brush the stairs,

Catching up

A lot has happened since my last post. We have been pretty busy!

~~We went back to our home in the middle of September. On the way I got to meet the pilot and see the cockpit! It was really cool. (Now I know the difference between a pilot and a pirate)




~~As soon as we got home I got to have my birthday party. Now I am 3 years old! We had a monkey party and it was a lot of fun to see all my friends again.

~~ I now get to see all my friends more often. While we were gone several of them moved into our neighborhood and I get to play with them more. I have also made some new local friends and I really like playing outside with them all.

~~My mom, Evan, and I had a weekend together. My dad had to go out of town and we had a lot of fun together. Something that helped mom was that a local (foreign owned) coffee shop had all you can eat pizza on Friday night and all you can eat pancakes on Sat morn. (I hope we do that more often.)

~~I started "home school" with my mom. (I started going to preschool before we left but I am going to take a break until the spring.) I have had a lot of fun so far. We have been learning about the seasons and leaves. My favorite thing to do right now is collect all the leaves I can every time I go outside.

~~ Evan has gotten bigger. He is 6 weeks old now. I love him so much!! Everyday I get to hold him and hug him. I can't wait until he can play with me!

X-rays

This week I got to learn about x-rays. Mom and Dad noticed that Evan had something wrong with his shoulder and the x-ray showed us that his right collar bone is broken! (They said it happened during delivery). His bone has already started to heal so he is not in pain but now we know why he was so upset the first few days! I really love Evan and have been very gentle with him.

My Little Brother Evan is here!

My Baby Brother!!

On August 19th at 3:20 a.m. my baby brother, Evan Osbourne Wilson, was born!! He weighed 9 lbs 2 ozs and was 21.25 inches long. We have taken pictures but have not had a chance to put them on the computer. I will post some very soon!

Still waiting...

I am still waiting for my baby brother. He was due last week but he must not be ready yet. Mom and dad promise that within the next week he will be here. I can't wait!

A Busy Weekend

My little brother has not arrived yet but we still had a busy weekend. On Saturday I had my first visit to the dentist! I was really excited until I had to let her look in my mouth! Then afterward I wanted to go back because they used a really good tasting toothpaste and gave me a toy!!




Then on Sunday as we were leaving church, I touched a light bulb and burned my had pretty bad. Once I got a bandage it started to feel better. (Now it doesn't look good but doesn't hurt either.)


Today we went to the Zoo/Aquarium. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed a nice nap when we got home!

Preparing for my baby brother

Well, in just a few days we will travel to a near by country to wait for my baby brother to come. Over the past few weeks mom has been "nesting". She told me this means getting the house ready for when we come home. I have been practicing too. I have been pretending that my favorite lamb is a baby to help me get ready for the real thing.

Everytime mom goes out someone comments on the baby. A lot of times they give advice about what they think mom should eat, wear, buy... The other day a lady gave her a magazine with baby products in it (not in English). We found an article that we thought you all would enjoy- for some reason they felt is was necessary for this part to be in English... (if you click the picture it will open in a bigger window)

Sneak Peak

He's not here yet but mom said not too much longer- about 6 weeks, give or take a few weeks. Several weeks ago mom had to get a check up and they were able to give us one 3-D picture of my baby brother! Mom and dad say that he looks like me when I was little. I am excited about having a baby brother and being able to help!

Helping out and... no more pull ups!

May was fun but we did not take many pictures. These are from the beginning of the month.
When our helper cleans I like to help her. This day I was in the middle of getting dressed and insisted on helping. (Wonder what the neighbors think!? Child labor? No clothes?) At least I put on my slippers to go out on the patio! (Yes we have to mop our patio- our city is nice but still smoggy and the patio gets really dirty!)

Also- this was probably the last time I wore pull ups! That's right I am officially a big boy and wear big boy underwear all the time!!!
