Christmas with Nadaulds

Not done yet!  We headed up to Heber on Christmas day to have a yummy Dinner with family.

 Another Christmas Nativity  - still think these little sheep are adorable!

 A talent show of singing, cooking, art, piano

 We even got to watch our cousins from Philly do their talents via the internet!

 And plenty of time to wrestle with uncles

The cutest thing Naomi was obsessed with over the break was peeling and eating little cuties as often as possible.  AND she didn't want anyone to help her peel.  It was pretty cute!

 And sled till your heart is content in the backyard!!

 Wow, I'm sad we have to wait another 12 months for this type of break again!  So fun to be with family.  We sure are blessed.

CHRISTMAS Day 2015

 Still trying to carry on the tradition of skiing the day of Christmas Eve.  This year was great because we had a TON of snow.  Mom and mimi bowed out because, well you know Pregnant ladies and 1 year olds don't do so well on the slopes!

 We had a fun Crepe dinner with Steve and Margaret and then read the Christmas story

 We all got some Christmas Jammies and had family prayer which ended up like this picture below...  I love how Naomi wanted in on the action!

 The day finally arrived and the boys were SUPER excited.  I think we slept until about 6:30 which is pretty good!

 Mimi thought opening presents was pretty cool.

 Basically her first Christmas that she can open presents and Santa knew every little girl needs a dolly.  Mimi went to pushing her around the house immediately. Oh, girls are so cute.

 The boys MAIN gift and the only thing they were asking for was and XBOX.. I don't know how we gave in to that.  But they thought we were pretty cool parents after that gift.

Merry Christmas my cute family.  So glad this part is over.  Kind of gives me stress!!!!

CHRISTMAS with HEatons

Festivities started at the Heaton home a week before Christmas this year.  I hate living far away, but I have to admit it gets us feeling the Christmas spirit getting to celebrate the week before each year.  It's kind of like a kick off for the fun break.

 Decorating Christmas sugar cookies is high on everyone's list too.

 This year, we did a family home evening by visiting the temple and then my brother Uncle Lonny taught us all about the shephards hook and gave each kid a candy cane. Super Sweet

 We took one night to go look at some cool St. George Christmas lights.

And then of course the talent show.. I think the best talent this year was Uncle Gavin's family's rendition of Whip and NayNay

The Nativity always is a little CHAOTIC... but it's tradition, right. 
Mimi was not too happy about being a sheep.

 This year, my mom surprised all the families with a handless segway for the Christmas present.  SOOO fun.  We all met at the church and had a blast trying them out.  We have a pretty cool grandma, that's for sure!

 Mimi also got a ride on toy and thinks it's pretty dang awesome.

December is all about Christmas...

 I love my tradition of stringing cranberries and popcorn for our family tree that also holds the decorations that we have collected from family trips.  The boys are good helpers and even Nate sewed a few strands this year.

We also like to look at lights as a family AND we love to deliver some Christmas cheer by Doorbell ditching our neighbor gifts each year.  I don't really get why the boys love doing it so much, because our treats say, "love the Nadaulds"  I guess it's just the thrill of hiding!

 We have had some GREAT snow this month and it is making us all excited for our season ski passes.  I took the boys sledding afterschool such easy cheap fun and they love it.

 Jake had his first orchestra recital tonight and he was great.  Taylor and I were both fairly surprised that the teacher was able to have a recital with so many students who just learned and instrument THIS YEAR.  I sure hope he keeps it up.  I told him he could decide after break if he wanted to be done or not.

 I was able to help in a couple class parties and it's always fun interacting with my kids peers and teachers.  Jake below in a heated minute to win it contest.

 Nate was the lucky one who got a visitor from the north pole.  They've been looking for their gingerbread man and I think Santa found him... YIPEE!

 Lets now leave out Taylor's annual VE party.  He is always dressed to kill at those.  I'm so glad he is daring and never gives up being funny.  I sure love that about him!!

 "THEY" blog.  This is such a funny story about Taylor's students this semester.  Taylor is always teasing his students so they gave it back to him the last day of the semester.  They all wore flannel shirts to school because Taylor says, "what is it, Timber Tuesday?" All the time I guess. :)  And they actually created a blog called "who is THEY"  because Taylor hates when people aren't specific and say things like They built that over there.  Or They say you will get sick.  Or  They don't want you to park there.  WHO IS THEY??  be specific people.  Anyway.. check out the blog.  It's pretty funny

 And Finally, to get ready for Christmas... we have to participate in the neighborhood Christmas Eve morning run down the canyon.  ALWAYS so beautiful even when it's cold.  ALWAYS great company.  I love where we live!

 A little shot of how Jake takes care of Mimi.  "Lets turn on a show and let her fend for herself." :)  I can't complain though.  It is SOOO nice to have big kids be able to babysit now and then.

 AND -- not to mention we won the stake womens regional volleyball tournament.  NOT PICTURED is Brenna who knocked her teeth out and was currently at the dentist for this picture.  WE missed her, but we played hard to make her proud.  What a fun ward/team we have!!!

New Carpet

New Carpet and we could have paid to have them rip out the old, but seriously with 4 boys... we own cheap labor!  They were pretty good helpers

 Such a bigger job than expected though

 Took us MANY hours of pulling out all the staples and took the carpet layers several hours to put more in as they were laying the new carpet.

 Mimi didn't help much, but she sure was a cute bystander.

 Finished product.  We love how the stairs are different than the main floor.  Awe... smells so new!!
