Rosey RED Cheeks!!!

Jaylee, Bretten and Kaysen wanted to play out in the snow so badly, but it was freezing cold and I kept telling them that they would freeze. Well of course they kept asking and I finally gave in and let them go out, but they quickly realized that I was right and only lasted about 10 minutes!!!

Clean one minute...a mess the next!

Asleep one minute....Awake the next! I just gave Rylan a nice relaxing bath, fed him, and rocked him to sleep. I put him down on the couch and thought I'd grab the camera to get a few pictures of the handsome little guy. Here's what he thought about that!!! (This happened inbetween pictures) Waaahhhh!!! Why??? (the funny thing is, he has only spit up twice in his whole 7 1/2 weeks that we've had him and both times they were pretty bad, so maybe he was sick???)

Fireproof Your Marriage...

We rented the movie Fireproof a few nights ago, having no idea what it was even about. We didn't have a lot of time when we ran into Blockbuster, so we just grabbed it because it said 'PG' on it and it looked like it would be something we could both watch and enjoy. Within the first 10 minutes of the movie, Jason and I were both looking at each other because we were like what did we just rent??? Only because the first of the show had some pretty terrible and cheesy acting, but I promise if you get through that, you'll end up in tears by the end. It didn't specify a religion in the film, but it is a show for any Christian person and really makes you realize that marriage is tough stuff, but worth it! I hope we can have a 'fireproof' marriage! I really liked this movie, so if you're looking for a good movie to watch, especially with Valentine's Day coming up, I would reccomend this one!

Rylan's 1 Month Photos...

Here are a few pictures of Rylan at 1 month old exactly (January 29th)! He is actually opening his eyes! I like the pictures, but think they could have been better. That's what you get for going to the PictureMe! studio in Wal-Mart. I wasn't too thrilled about it or their new prices. I liked the other studios that used to be in Wal-Mart better. I had my other 3 kids with me while it was being done though, so this is as good as it gets! I'm just glad I actually got some baby pics done before it was too late!

A few updates!

We needed to get our oil changed in our van, so we went to Provo for a day to get it done at the Honda dealership there (we don't have one in Vernal) plus it was an excuse to visit with my family a little bit. My Mom was the only one that had met Rylan, so it was fun to let some of my other family meet him and we also wanted to see Sunny's new baby too. My Mom cooked us a yummy lasagna dinner that night and we had a cheesecake to celebrate Kaysen's birthday, which was the next day. It was a short, but sweet visit!

Kaysen finally turned 2! He's been going through his 'terrible 2's' stage for a long time now, so I'm relieved that he finally is 2 and we can get through this year! Even though he is 'terrible' sometimes, he is also very sweet and fun and he brings a lot of smiles and happiness to our family!

I've had a house full of sick kids for the last few weeks! Rylan has been sick ever since we got back from traveling to my parents and my other kids got sick just htis last week. Kaysen had a fever of 103 on Monday and Tuesday, but seems to be doing better today. Jaylee had to miss school a few times last week for her cold. It's been kind of hectic. Rylan has been consistenly stuffy for a few weeks, so he isn't eating very well and isn't taking his binky because he has to use his mouth to breathe. I hope it doesn't turn into anything more serious. It is hard to hear him so stuffy and he lets out these hoarse little coughs and when he cries it is really sad because his voice is hoarse too.
Anyways, here are some more pictures of Rylan! He is always sleeping when I think to take them. Probably because I usually take pictures during the day, and that is when he thinks he is suppose to sleep. When he is awake all night long, pictures are the last thing I'm thinking about! He's a cutie and is so sweet and we love having him in our home!
