Sweet Hellos

Lilo has the most adorable, cheerful way of greeting people by name. He wakes up in the morning crying for me and when I open his door he says, "hi Mama!" and the sadness is gone.

This morning as we walked home from taking Hattie to the bus stop he greeted each of our neighbors' houses

"Hi Dead." for hi Dez (a little kid across the street)

"Hi Monna." to Monica (lives next to Dez)

"Hi mean goggies" to the house with the 2 pitbulls

He also learned to say "I love you," for the first time yesterday- with the help of Barney's song.

Sweet moments...he is such a happy little boy.

"Mama, how fast does the moon go?"

That's what Jojo wondered today. I have no answers.

When Lilo saw a photo of papa on the computer screen (cause who has paper photos anymore?) he said, "hold you, my papa" as he tried to pinch papa's image off of the screen. We love you, papa. Glad you'll be home in 4 hours.

We've watched this about 20 times...

These adorable babes are our littlest cousins Lily, Hathaway and Tate. Poor little Hathaway!

Pachelbel Bedtime

I think this is funny...

Why does bedtime take so freaking long? It seems no matter what I do it takes at least an hour (beginning to end) to get them to sleep... if I'm lucky. I should probably cherish this time and be grateful that they are all healthy and blah blah blah, but by the end of the day, I kinda want to breathe without anyone twirling my hair or whining for more whatever. Any ideas from the experienced mama relatives and friends welcome.

I love the way he says...

Lilo is at that so-dang-cute stage of talking. I can't get enough of his chatter. Grandma Sylvia always asks if I am writing these things down. So here goes...

"hambugaga" for hamburger
"ba-got guck" for garbage truck
"look. mama" for look mama- you gotta hear it to get the cuteness
"hold you mama" for hold me mama
"mon-lo" for lawn mower

And pretty much everything else he says. I'll add more to my list as I think of things.

JoJo's latest...

"Mama, is Heavenly Father in my head?"

"What color is my heart?"

If I could only get him to STOP saying, "Mama, for my birthday could you get me (insert any weird toy featured on Discovery Kids commercials)?" I don't think we need 'aqua dots' or 'moon sand.' We have plenty of worthless toys already. He insists on asking until he gets one of two answers: Yes or maybe. Anything else and he continues the plea. His birthday is in February.

Help me, Rhonda, or I am going to lose my mind!

I am tired. And I'm tired...

What are the chances of all three monkeys waking up at 4:20 AM today? All three seemed refreshed and ready to go downstairs to watch tv at 4:20 AM!!! Of course this has to happen when papa is away. Go back to sleep kiddos... or else! Now if I could just go back to sleep... dang it!
