Nauvoo Here We Come

On Thursday, July 2, Myron, Jessica, (Kent's daughter) Laurel (Rod's daughter) and I are going to Nauvoo. We will be staying with Karla and Marvin and having a 4th of July party with them and Ruth and Jerry. We went to Nauvoo two years ago, but this time we are visiting Karla and Marv. We will return July 10.

Also, July 2 marks seven years since we returned from our mission in Guatemala. It doesn't seem that long ago.

Sisters

My cousin Linda gave me some pictures Aunt Laura had of our family. I had not seen the top picture before. It says in my mothers handwriting that I am 3 3/4 yrs., Korla 9 months and LoRane 2 yrs. 8 months. That means it was probably taken in June of 1939.

Th bottom picture was probably taken in 1941 since Ruth looks younger than one year. So I would be about 6 yrs, LoRane 5 years, and Karla 3 years.

Do any of the grandchildren look like the sisters?
